  • Man I feel you. I started therapy a little over a year ago and mental health has improved a thousand fold, but I feel like it's too late and the country is only a few years away from falling completely.

  • Just a correction, there isn't anything limiting how "far" we can see our into the universe except our limited technology. And even then we are very close. We're only limited by how old our universe is, as it takes light that long to travel to us from the edge of the expanding universe. The furthest we can possibly see would be about 300,000 years after the big bang, when light was finally able to travel unimpeded throughout the universe.

  • They're going back to battlefield 4 for this one. Honestly I haven't been this excited for a pvp game in years, possibly since Titanfall 2. The gameplay they've been showing off looks incredibly fun.

  • If you want the model M just for it's feel you should check out Unicomp keyboards. They make modernized versions that feel identical according to a friend who uses one. Although they are way more expensive than 10 dollars.

  • Everything is a distraction from everything else. It's incredibly effective and I'm not surprised it works this well. The country's attention span seems to be about 3 days before they forget something and move on.

  • Yea because a gun is literally designed as a weapon. If someone is wielding one and it "accidentally" goes off you were 100% being negligent in some way. With a car there are certainly situations where you can do everything as safely as possible but an accident still occurs.

  • Except their GPUs wouldn't be at 100% power all the time. Most of that time will be with programming, texture artistry, planning mechanics etc. I have a feeling that "back of the napkin" calculation is incredibly inaccurate.

  • I feel like it never broke my immersion cause how often are you stopping every stranger in a real life metropolis to talk to them? Seeing all these nameless people walking by is very much what it's like to walk around a city in real life.

  • While true you can talk to more NPCs, the largest city in Skyrim has like 40 people. I find cyberpunk's world feels more realistically populated for a giant city.
