  • They aren't nonsense articles. Those bots create articles about any known species. They usually only include the name, taxonomy, who described it first, and sometimes a description.

  • I remember when he announced that videos could be uploaded from the website next week...he said that in February. In August, he said it would be possible soon. There was an instance (loops.gay) that allowed you to do that, but it disappeared.

  • It isn't common, but it happens. For example, local news websites.

  • I see German content here all the time, even though I don't understand it or follow it.

  • Reddit had a tool for that because search engines weren't useful.

  • I recognize that avif and webp may have their uses, but for me they are a nuisance every time I encounter an image in those formats.
