  • The former. Classic notepad would never support clickable links

  • Them being in office and having to openly do the job of GOP.

But they basically do this already. They already do genocide, mass deportations, passively allowing abortion bans, etc. while just claiming they're the good cop even though the claim is nonsensical.

I'm honestly not sure how much "more" they can be forced into this..

  • What is that? A stealth fighter for ANTS?!

  • With the amount of people saying Trump's doctored the files, just position yourself as much an enemy of Trump as you can. Then you can declare yourself framed if anything incriminating appears, using your brazen demands to release the files as evidence.

Essentially turning the matter of your innocence into a partisan issue means you guarantee the support of a good portion of libs, and gives your friends in high places a good excuse to let you off.

  • Even if you were extremely generous and conceded that all these baseless, vague accusations were true, they'd be significant improvements over the current government.

Like oh no a political party that supports state violence, supports authoritarian regimes, has cult-like behaviours, platforms fascists, has opaque funding and suppresses protests, unlike the current parties which uh.. well, uh.. all that, but way worse, and way more intensely, and more, extremely evil things, such as constantly doing fucking genocide.

  • Given Stalin's bike is missing a pedal, he's gonna really benefit from that silky smooth bike path

  • This is the equivalent of sticking your head in a bucket of water and then complaining that the atmosphere doesn't help you breathe.

At some point, you at least have to enter the door of the metaphorical happiness store and try to buy some happiness.

  • Not a popular opinion for Linux shillers, but I love GNOME. It's quite simplified but does most what a normal person could want. And Gnome extensions can do basically anything a power use could want.

I think its main criticisms largely stem from saying it's not very "Windows"y.

  • Here's another one, but he's ANGRIER

  • I've gone the complete opposite way. I used disposable jobbies for ~10 years, but switched to a safety razor 2-3 years ago and it's been way better and faster for me. Not to mention like.. 20-100x cheaper and the environmental bonus.

As others have said, both disposables and safety razors vary significantly in quality, I'd recommend doing more experimenting yet. Disposable razors have a lubrication strip on them which makes a big difference, so there may also be a shaving soap factor.

  • Old Dahomey/Benin used to have a variety of cool-ass elephant flags

    It's a elephant but in a crown

  • Ah, sorry, I think I perhaps worded the last point poorly. I meant it's equally if not more important [than unspecified other things] in achieving a successful socialist victory. Yes the socialist revolution is absolutely a necessary precondition.

  • Whataboutism except the what about is purely fictional

  • That is funny. But as a non-USAian, I do think the analogy of a "nothing burger" is surprisingly apt.

The bread bun is bait claims and vague implication on top, and rage comments below, with no actual content to back it up. We can all imagine the disappointment and dissatisfaction of eating a nothing burger, I think that emotional response significantly matches the response of feeling your time was wasted by a story that has no meaningful content.

  • I'm tempted to make something like this, a professional suck up company, invite lots of bourgeois wealth, then do a sudden heel turn.

  • My issue with people obsessing over it, as is my issue with a lot of things, is a lot of missing the woods for the trees.

99% of libs I know are suckered into "oh yeah but once we prosecute the named people everything will be fine" and not "this is a systemic issue maybe we should consider forms of society that prevent that kind of consolidation of sick power."

That being said, I still think it's a good radicalisation moment. It's just one that needs seizing on and framing correctly.
