  • Same as GOG.

  • No you don't. Their ToS are very explicit about this. You're buying licenses, just like on Steam.

  • The library runs silently in the background without user interaction, fingerprints the host device, registers it with a remote backend, and periodically sends metrics and retrieves configuration via an encrypted communications channel.

Are we sure this isn't Google Play Services?

  • Yes, they were on a reduced crew because of a storm.

  • This is normal. XDG dirs must be configured manually. Alternatively, home-manager has options for this.

  • It depends on the country. In France for example, middle and left are for passing.

  • How many computers do you have ?!

  • Although the founding family's name was written in the Kanji "豊田" (rendered as "Toyoda"), the company name was changed to a similar word in katakana - トヨタ (rendered as "Toyota") because the latter has 8 strokes which is regarded as a lucky number in East Asian culture.

  • I remember this being the norm 15-20 years ago.

  • Down with proprietary haram software!

  • The outermost spot is easier to reach with the thumbs. The most used elements of the controller are face buttons and the left stick. Having the left stick in the "secondary" position makes no sense.

  • Exactly. Sony insists on having symmetrical sticks, even though Xbox figured out asymmetric was better back in 2001. Every third party controller has asymmetric switches. Even Nintendo Pro controllers do. Why did Valve choose the objectively worse solution?

  • It's insane. Seemingly everyone but Sony figured out decades ago it's a terrible idea, and Valve does it anyway.

At least it has concave sticks, which weren't on PlayStation until 2013.

  • When Jean-Marie Le Pen, founder of the French Nazi party, died, the presidency made a press release which was essentially "condolences to the family, history will be his only judge". No need to praise him.

  • Hardware keys use biometics as a password to unlock a key or OTP code. Your fingerprints never leaves the device.

  • 15.7 billion miles (168 AU)

Americans will convert their miles to every yee yee ass unit under the sun before using metric.
