  • When someone asks for something, always tune your radio to station WIIFM. (What’s in it for me?)

  • More kids should idolize Homelander.

  • Sent this to my boss with a request for a raise. I’ll let yall know how it works out.

  • Don’t threaten me with a good time

  • Big tech is just trading the same $100b between each other to generate infinite shareholder value.

  • I wish younger generations would take over trailer parks.

  • In 10 years, your child will end up only being able to afford a laptop battery. Off brand, not even a Dell. Scott’s Tots 2

  • Tbh, it would be kind of nice if sensors weren’t put in easily damaged areas of cars. They’re part of why bumpers and tailgates are so much more expensive. I wonder if cars could have all the safety features using a couple little LIDAR and camera packages instead of chips on every piece of plastic.

  • Adult is just being 18+ years old. What you may be looking for is how to mature as an adult. That’s done by trying, failing, and learning over and over again. You’ll always have some fear of new things, but you eventually learn how to bounce back from failure to reduce the fear. As you get older, you’ll lose the support of family because they die. As that happens, you’ll learn to fend for yourself. You will not mature if your are doing the same old stuff because it’s comfortable.

  • Do they even own the publishing rights to the originals to even cut them off? It sounds to me like they’re just making game modes that mimic the gameplay.

Edit: googled it and omg they do.

  • Demand the school install a urinal in the ladies room.

  • Enter Roger Stone

  • Sounds like we’re all to blame. Maybe we really should consider boycotting Amazon and Walmart to stop people from relying on exploitative corporations for daily life. Talk to neighbors and coworkers to share excess commodities with each other. Maybe you might meet a soap-maker, a gardener, a hunter or beekeeper. You might be handy or a problem solver to help someone else out.

  • We can make it work. “it was Agafa All Along”

  • Not a loophole, it’s how the system is built. Publicly owned for-profit companies legally cannot perform actions that can be perceived as hurting their profits, such as raising wages or lowering prices to benefit workers/customers. Shareholder primacy. Executives are employed by the shareholders & owe workers nothing other than what the government mandates.

  • Real talk, no one out in public cares what you do or how you act until you inconvenience them. If you mind your manners, you’re just an NPC to everyone else. You’re an adult now in an adult world where everyone else has their own stuff going on. Can you remember the personality of the 2nd to last random person that held a door open for you?

Our insignificance gives you permission to be who you want to be and the freedom to do whatever you want. No one thinks more about you than you do. Your experience with your family left a strong impression on you about the world you’re in, but that’s their experiences not yours. It’s now your time to have your own & build a worldview on your terms as you. No one has the authority to tell you to act a certain way. You are who you are & everyone else will have to just deal with it if they have a problem. It sounds like the only person attacking you right now is you.

  • Guess we just have to make more shareholder value if we want nice things. We can’t talk too loudly though, just in case someone gets the idea that the workers should actually become the shareholders.

  • I pay for food delivery, they should pay for labor delivery.
