I've been blocking communities and posters as they pop up. It works until someone spins up a new instance for it, but then you can just block that as well.
You are correct in that you should hate every character on Search Party. Alia Shawkat was great on the show though, I loved getting to see her in a more dramatic role after Arrested Development.
I generally don't condone AI use but this seems like a case where it may be beneficial. Is it possible to feed your news sources into a chat bot and have it generate a "daily feed" of headlines and summaries? If it works right it could save you a lot of time.
SpongeBob is much older than Young Justice and DCAU. The format for cartoons back then was for them not to have any overarching plots/continiuities so that you can air them in any order. With the advent of streaming services this is no longer an issue since VOD doesn't have the drawbacks of network television.

Thats already been happening. I live in Philadelphia, where our schools are famously decrepit and underfunded, and there have been several "heat days" over the past few years. The frequency of them seems to be increasing.
