  • Check out the most recent Red flag radio podcast episode with April, a tran activist for Rainbow Rights. They discuss how social justice is connected to economic justice, how it's all tied up in the class earlier against capitalism.

  • Serial Experiments Nicole

    Nicolaia Ex Machina

  • Deleted

    Jump
  • Right after his glide bombs are jammed, lol

  • Everything from the Ranged Touch Network. Basically culture and media studies with good banter. They have:

Just king things (Reading every King Book in publication order)

    Game Studies Study Buddies

Shelved By Genre (Units discussing different genre books).

  • But it's associated in my experience with uncritical support of the USSR in the Stalinist period.

  • Wtffffff

  • I'm a Marxist Leninist, just not a campist or Stalinist tho

  • They also support Israel's apartheid and occupation, they are listed on the NoThanks app.

  • Since they are full on Zionists and they basically use their community as a brigading attack dog I had a laugh when I saw them blue.

  • I use Kagi, I really like how it's AI answer gives sources for statements.

  • Getting radical, but software is another example of why capitalism sucks and how a socialist system could improve things.

In the domain of software design and distribution, when these things are run by companies that need to compete for market share and profit, then it just creates so much waste with needing everything to. be subscription based and filled with ads etc.

If we didn't have this ultra competitive market system, then people who are passionate about software could be paid to self organise around various projects and design things for long term use value and not enshittification.

  • Yeah I'm a Marxist as well just not that sort

  • Yeah, took me a while to realise generational stereotypes etc. were more inflammatory culture war, as much as it often seems 'in good spirits'.

Entelechy is a new word too ty

  • I'm Aussie, and Albo is a cunt, but I don't want us to retaliate economically yet.

Like others have said it's a minor impact on our industry so far. I'm more concerned about taxing these mining and resources corporations.

  • Ok yeah my bad abt Kosovo.

Re Afghanistan I would say 9/11 was not an act of war by Afghanistan, and more a terrorist attack by non-state actors. And the closest involved state actors were Saudi, Pakistani, and U.S moreso than Afghan anyway.

I'm sceptical about the extent to which NATO is controlled by the U.S vs. other members but I'm not too knowledgeable, but it seems at minimum U.S has outsized influence on NATO anyway, as like all the Supreme Allied commanders of Europe have been from the US I think, even though the head position of NATO has more European staff.

But yeah with article 5 and other factors it's definitely possible Europe would defend Greenland, and I don't think any of them would help invade it except maybe Hungary lol.

  • NATO isn't really defensive.

It's two main Engagements - Kosovo and Afghanistan - were pretty solidly offensive imo.

  • I saw the Hammer and Sickle on lemmy.ml and that was enough for me to know that they were probably Campists and Stalinists lol.

I guess it's good Lemmy has the different instances(?) even tho it's a bit annoying.
