  • apparently we are really lame cause he said scum instead of bastards. according to my friends with windows 95

  • damn, these alien scum are gonna pay for shooting up my ride

  • certainly brought my audiobookshelf to its knees when i decided that that lxc was gonna go ahead and be the jellyfin server also

  • while like, jumping in a circle

  • I've had a little snikket (prosody docker, xmpp) sever running for a year. monacles or cheogram are just fine, playing games with the fam in the chats is really cool.

    dino or gajim on desktop.

calls work well, but android doesn't treat it as an actual phone call (home assistant automations based on phone state won't work)

and I've just now gotten direct messaging tied into home assistant, so i can use it for general notifications. it'd be awesome to get encryption though.

omemo is a bit of a pain, but they've all caught on.

but yeah i mean, very little hassle

  • ocygen id dolfin

  • I've been playing a little with pipewire, this is another cool tip!

I've been impressed with the snapcast discover module! but the latest time i added it to a machine (bazzite desktop) it also sees every device on my network that can take an audio stream? and interrupts each of them any time i pull up the volume menu from the panel tray.

i tried specifying the snapcast sever instead of zeroconf but no luck yet

  • Stuffed because that cute person didn't like me back cause they were busy blowing all their inheritance from their estranged uncle that died when the towers fell.

  • xmpp yayyyyyyyy!

  • hell yeah! great video

  • ol bob

  • I'm glad i never had to see Jacob because i always save jenkins

  • not that i can think of? i pop over to look at storage space every so often and it doesn't look like it's growing very much.

inviting people is easy, directly from the android app.

the snikket app itself is pretty straightforward. The only thing I would caution is telling people using the chat service to make sure their encryption button is checked or whatever.

there are other apps that work with this, the one i use on android is conversations.

i haven't had to delete users yet, but that sort of thing is done directly at the home page with admin login.

I had tried to use the Ansible playbook to get a matrix server up and running and failed for about a week straight before trying out Snicket and was texting with my mom across the country in an hour

  • emulate typing of the dead

  • been using snikket for a year or so. it is pretty slick

  • pielauncher.

quickdraw on my most used apps

  • get some DLNA or other OSS way to sling it to my house audio player (mopidy or snapcast) and I'd finally have to stop worrying about symfonium licensing hassles.

i don't mind contributing, but what if i never connect that device to WAN?

  • the rabies is a small price to pay to avoid the dog autism.

oh wait nvm they got it anyways by licking my hands after i took Ah sea toe min oh fin

  • you're not alone!
