Absolutely - I was going to say, Spain is head and shoulders above the UK for LGBT safety (those are the only two countries I've spent a lot of time in recently).
Also worth noting, I've been in the non-touristy parts of north Vietnam for a month now (much more conservative than the south), and having talked to quite a few LGBT people here, it's safe to live as an openly queer person, they just occasionally have to put up with assholes ... just like everywhere else. And as a guiri, even the assholes don't want to confront me, an obviously queer woman.
The latter most of the time, but then I moved to a semi-tropical climate and learned to live with the former for half the year ... after the first month of flip-flops I don't really notice them any more, so I guess it can't really be that bad
Serious reply - this was the development plane, so was jamb-packed full of extra info which wasn't present on the final version.
IIRC it's at Duxford Air Museum, in the UK. Fun fact, I once went there dressed as Tank Girl with my then-girlfriend as Jet Girl. Expected to be asked to leave, but actually had positive feedback from quite a few people :-)
I just got a new phone when my old be crapped out on me while in Vietnam, and the local guy I found who deals in cash only had iphones or Samsungs. So, I held my nose and got a Jump2.
I've been through, disabled as much as possible, added fdroid stuff for all the daily use things, and put a killswitch VPN on.
Seems to be doing alright ... I'm not obsessive about security, and I need Play Store stuff for work, so this is about as good as it gets, lol
I used to have an apple every day with my lunch, and then one day my apple turned out to be very spicy ... followed by a whole raft of other foods in quick succession
Ah, yes. As someone who developed a shopping-list's worth of allergies after turning 35, I guess I couldn't even conceive of a different interpretation
Or you could just chuck AROS on a bootable thumbdrive.
I have my old Amiga hard drive image with Workbench 3.9, and sometimes start it up in an emulator ... it doesn't take me long to remember that guis have come a long way since the Amiga was relevant :-/
Oh goddess yes. Handed a revolver (cylinder out to show it was empty) to a friend who is ex-military and was a designated sharpshooter ... back in the 70s ...
He proceeded to play with the cylinder and then flick it closed, because that's how they do it in the movies >:-(
If you don't really know how to handle a gun you should say so, and let the owner walk you through how to handle it ... assuming they actually follow the golden rules.
Not the person you replied to, but I live in Spain and outside the cities there's plenty of guns around.
Mostly for farmers / hunting / trap competition, but also old heirlooms from the civil war that are still operational ... and target shooting, which is what I do.
