There is no legitimate defence for prioritising "legality" over morality, especially if you ONLY do it when a victim of oppressive systems fights back - that just makes you a bootlicking class traitor

Yeah, because being objectified and sexualised from before you even hit puberty, having fewer rights (including those to your own body), getting paid less for the same work and not at all for all the work that isn't considered work by men like raising kids and running a home, wondering if we're one of the women who WILL statistically get murdered by their partner on any given week, being subjected to near constant rape threats and almost certainly (again, statistically it's pretty much all women) surviving sexual harassment and abuse if not rape too and then facing an entire system dedicated to discrediting and blaming you while protecting the abusers ("wouldn't want to ruin his life over a bit of fun"), as well as having to deal with misogynistic asshats such as yourself who convince themselves that because men buy us drinks at bars (in an expectation of sex, of course) we've got it easy, and pretend none of the other things are happening because it's easier to gaslight your victims than it is to accept that you're a massive and active part of the problem, on a daily basis, is a real fucking treat..

Fair enough, I get your point that there is a philosophical question with no consensus on an answer in the kind of example you gave (potentially, unknowingly, unintentionally causing harm to a single individual at some hypothetical point in the future), and that there are interesting discussions to be had about those kinds of situations, but I still maintain that the example bares no relevance to the situation we're discussing here (deliberately, certainly, directly and immediately causing the deaths and suffering of countless people), because as you say yourself, it's quite easy to make the direct link from CEO to deaths.

E: and before you try throwing bone density at me, most of the people impacted are cis (and will not be stopped from taking blockers), and either way, there is simple treatment to counteract this minor issue (and which is completely insignificant when compered to the alternative). The ban is 100% motivated by transphobia and cruelty.

History has shown that nothing less is going to stop them from dumping waste in our water supplies.

Lol, when in history have capitalists ever been held accountable? Mild slaps on the wrist (including supposed jail time, which is neve gong to come to be, and if it is, it'll be of a sacrificial manager, not the owners) aren't going to change shit as long as the system that enables them exists.

Would it be nice to see those in charge get locked up? Sure! But it's never going to happen, and without other systemic change, even if it did (but it won't), it's still just applying a band aid to a brain tumour.
