If it’s just fries, then nothing other than salt.
Otherwise, cheese curds and gravy.

A lot of it has been family and college. The college I attended has a research group that allows students to do internships.
The college also runs job fairs every one in a while. Those kinds of things I huge.
Conventions of any kind as well, where you can speak to people in booths, or even any of the other attendees.
My first ever job was running a wood chipper under my uncles tree business. Did that almost every weekend for a number of years. Even sometimes in the winter. I wasn’t even a teenager when I first started this job.
Second job was working in a warehouse at a company my mom worked at. They really needed weekend help.
My third job was doing landscaping over the summer at a smallish company where my brother in law worked at. The owner loved to hire students for cheap.
Fourth was a few software development internships ran by a research group at my college. I had a friend who was part of the group and vouched for me.
My current job is my first true career job as a software engineer. The project manager from one of the internships I had actually got a job as CTO at this company. Offered me a junior position there out of college. Been there almost 6 years.
I have applied to places where I certainly would have needed interviews, but I was never offered an opportunity.
To make this even more awesome is that I’ve interviewed candidates myself at my current job for junior positions.
I’ve never had to do a job interview. 5 different jobs, all word of mouth.
Used to use android, but switched to iPhone when the 12 came out. I simply don’t care about the flexibility anymore… I used to tinker a lot, but now I personally don’t find it amusing. And even if I did want to tinker, the Shortcuts app provides a lot of cool features. iOS is refined, sleek, and I enjoy the UI. AirPlay works miles better than anything on android. CarPlay is a better experience. The ecosystem just works. Apple Maps street view is available in places google maps isn’t. I’m currently on the 15 pro max, and the design and feel of the phone is awesome. Probably a handful of other things that don’t immediately come to mind.
My cat has not once tried unraveling a toilet paper roll. He has stolen money before, but he steals shit, so that’s normal. But never toilet paper.
Hoonigan made a video on a twin engine MX3 a few years back. Not quite 4, but it’s a cool car nonetheless.
Hmm, that’s a great option. Although, I’m not a big audiobook/podcast fan because I feel I need to concentrate on it to understand what’s going on, and that’s not particularly useful when driving/working/etc, but I may give it a shot in the future!
Harry Potter. All of them. I’m currently reading the books, and I know that when I’m done I’m going to be so disappointed that there’s nothing left to experience the first time.
Terrariums. I love miniature things, including tiny ecosystems. There’s a few communities on Lemmy, but they’re mostly inactive, and have a tiny amount of subscribers.
But what if they didn’t know and just winged it themselves?
Favourite was dodgeball, for obvious reasons. Least favourite was dodgeball, cause we played with volleyballs.
Maybe more weird than alarming, but can also be alarming.
I was about 14 years old. Hanging out with a friend, and we went over to someone’s house. They had a bong and some weed, so what the hell, eh? I took a rip. For about 10-20 minutes, I was fine. We were hanging out on some chairs. A few of us ended up moving towards the front of the house, and it was at this point I have no recollection of what happened. It seemed like I blacked out for a while. I came to consciousness when I was asked if I had a can of ginger ale… I had no backpack, so why I was asked that, I’ve no idea. However, it seemed like I was standing in this persons driveway for a good amount of time, facing the garage door, away from the others, totally out of it and blacked out. My friend and I ended up going to his then girlfriend’s house, had a bonfire and ate some snacks. When we were leaving, I promptly yacked all over his girlfriend’s front yard. I was 100% after that.
That was the last time I smoked weed. I’m fairly confident that was maybe a little more than weed…
Until you freeze it… Diarrhea ice cream!
I had always disabled chat in RL. Nothing good really ever came through it.
100%. I get headaches really easily with the smell of cigarette smoke. Absolute no go from me.
Probably shooting the chips from cutting a log with a chainsaw at my face. That’s gotten be at some point painful and extremely annoying.
Late 1800’s is when the town was established. Lots of houses from then are still standing, but a good number of them have had additions built, so they’re not 100% original.
A large majority of modern web applications are built with Javascript… Both frontend and backend. You do still have a large majority of websites using plain HTML or PHP, with some features requiring JS to function (modals, realtime stats, data input, etc).
You also have alternative languages like Java or C# (and more), but also may use bits of JS on the frontend to drive functionality.
You can bet that the majority of websites you visit nowadays will use some form of JS, unless it’s a static webpage to display basic information.
