Most fixes I can think of would effectively be a one move blunder, where the opponent's move is extremely obvious and only leaves us in a worse position.
The only real fix I can think of is to require everyone to sign in with a Steam account that has spent > $200 or similar.
Remember, there are a lot of foreign antagonists here. Accounts are free and you can make as many as you want. I'll let you guess who has incentive to make many of them.
And then there are others who get convinced and just repeat those talking points.
And I own one of those because fascism, not because of price. I assure you it was more expensive than a Tesla, before Trump and his tariffs.
Not everything has to be black and white. Tesla (and Elon) did some good in making EVs mainstream and common. Now Elon is openly a Nazi. Both can be true.
They're mostly fine cars, with a few Elon-caused exceptions. I'll be sad to see EVs as a whole, which were poised to replace ICE cars, fall back out of popularity while we go back to burning oil.
Maybe this admin will act recklessly one week and decide we need to bring in BYD. It could be worth it to cede all manufacturing capability in the West in order to get rid of burning oil.
I was looking forward to parking garages not smelling like exhaust.
For some reason US manufacturers can't make a $35k EV.
Now you're being willfully ignorant. He's made clear his meaning, definitions, and point. If you still refuse to interpret it in the way he clearly intended, that's your problem.
While I wholeheartedly agree, war is always a loss. And I think Russia is treading carefully knowing exactly what the West will allow. (And manipulating their biggest obstacle.)
Matter over Thread is what you want. It means it can work locally with anything. You do need a Thread controller (called a "thread border router"), but most people already have one. Google Home, Alexa, or Apple things all do it.
Ikea is starting to move over to this stuff. Just be aware that they're also trying to get rid of the old tech still.
And it's so ubiquitous that the only way to avoid them altogether is to become Amish.
Good luck never agreeing to binding arbitration. And even if you do get out of it, good luck ever holding them accountable in a class action. You might be able to file a class action, but no one can join you.
They don't have the discipline.
