Be aware of what it's going to look like. The propaganda agents are going to outnumber us by a lot. They will decide the majority opinion. Some of them will argue for your side in the most flawed ways that are easy to attack.
And being aware of this helps, but doesn't stop it. If you have a thousand people screaming at you that you're wrong, it's going to have an effect whether you know it's fake or not.
Even then, there wasn't perfect overlap between the racist border patrol guys and the literal nazi gangs. Now there is.
