  • You don't like his tone, but it's very important those two people went to prison. Should more people be in prison? Absolutely.

We're in a worse situation than that now. There was some rule of law when those two went to prison. They likely wouldn't go today. They weren't just some "faces"; they were the primary people responsible for the crimes.

The murderers of Renee Good and Alex Pretti aren't in jail.

  • DON'T VOTE BLUE. DONT VOTE BLUE. DONT VOTE BLUE.

Oh, is that not subtle enough? Sorry, I meant BOTH SIDES and EVERYTHING REPUBLICANS DO IS THE DEMS FAULT.

I hope that last one wasn't too long. Was it bad to mention Republicans at all?

  • What about all the WMDs we found in Iraq though?

  • There's more potential in gerrymandering for Dems currently, as they've done less of it overall (outside of Maryland and a few others).

At the same time actually making gerrymandering illegal could start to impact current maps.

The former likely won't matter much until 2032. The latter matters now. We all know they're thinking in the short term.

  • People didn't like Rule 1 being enforced.

  • They're both completely lawful residents. They've literally done nothing wrong and should have never been detained.

  • Open borders are a great idea if you want to average out the standard of living across the world.

Personally, as an American, I don't want that to be a fast process. I am interested in helping the rest of the world to raise their standard of living, especially in the long term. That's in everyone's interest.

I'm not interested in making huge sacrifices in the American standard of living in order to accomplish that.

  • If that's true, we're doomed.

A lot of this is a lack of truthful information and Fox News spin. They're just not being exposed to this reality, and they're taught to reject it the few times they brush against it. Yeah, it's dumb, but it's where we're at.

If it's forced in front of enough of them long enough, some number will see it. That's why when voting happens lately it's a 20 point swing towards Democrats.

The Mexican flags sure make it look a lot like Fox News's version of "invasion from Mexico" is a real thing. It helps to keep those people in their bubble.

  • The Mexican flags are dumb as fuck though. You can make all the arguments you want, at the end of the day you're validating their narrative. You're helping to turn people against you instead of for you.

If you want to fly a flag in protest, fly an American flag. We're the fucking Americans here, not Trump and his gestapo.

  • It's still good practice. Suddenly everyone is looking at that person to do the thing, and if they don't the problem is more clear.

  • It can't be more clear that he's trying to normalize this. His message is that we shouldn't do anything and just let happen because we didn't do anything before this.

But really he's just desperate that we don't fight back. He wants Russia and China to win through Trump decimating the US.

  • It's why they're pushing so hard for schools and specifically teachers to be "apolitical". Previously universities were exempt because we needed the people running things to have a reasonable grasp of reality.

But now they don't like how to "college educated" people keep voting against them.

  • Pretty sure this one isn't real. The "deal with this"one is.

  • Yeah, but the Dems

  • Nothing we post here matters.

Hey, I've been arguing this shit online for well over a decade. The one bright side about all the manipulation and social media bots is that it validated all that effort. Apparently what we post online does matter. And they didn't like that.

  • They can't vote. They're either not American or they're bots.

  • It's a car vs horse thing and the execs want the car to be driverless.

  • Many drivers refuse cars and still use horse and buggy.

  • They were working for the people because the people (who voted for Trump) wanted immigration enforcement.

They were representing their people, maybe foolishly. They were making sure there was no valid reason to vote for Trump, thinking that the vote would go logically.

Instead the vote went to propaganda and memes.
