  • lol exactly. the feds have been proven to be CP distributors, it was proven in a court of law actually

  • If e2ee is what is really keeping you from catching child abusers, then your department is INCOMPETENT and LAZY. Sorry, but all this does is tell me that you are a piece of shit human being(s) that thinks they have to have god-like controls to do your job of jailing actual criminals. or else it's just an excuse to control everything (it is), in which case you are just evil

    Fuck these nosey oligarchs

  • Did i mention EDS Lite? crazy ahh people these days..

there is also another one im thinking of but it was a year ago and i cant remember the name ugh

    edit: found it

    https://blaze.vercel.app/

just be aware that even though it's open source, the code is not verifiable in web-app form

  • syncthing?

also check out droidfs for opening gocryptfs/cryfs volumes

  • yeah ivpn is recommended too, i think he just forget. i think they do the same thing as mullvad? like you can pay with monero and no email

ivpn mullvad and proton seem to be the golden three. I'd throw in OVPN too though

  • so automatic will allow the leak?

  • Mullvad is awesome. i think this is the second android bug/incident they brought to light?

Anyway, really really hope this gets fixed upstream, maybe by Graphene

How much you wanna bet this was intentional by Google? 😏

  • mine gives me three choices. Off, Automatic, and Private DNS (type in your own). should i set mine to off then? will that prevent the leak?

  • "If privacy is outlawed, only outlaws will have privacy"

  • lazy asses. no wonder so much real actual crime goes unnoticed.

  • "Aight sir i just needs ta check insad ya aeshowl"

  • have fun playing by the rules of the system that hates you and your privacy

also monero is fairly stable price wise

  • the reason is that corps can harvest massively more data with an application installed directly in your OS, rather than trying to stay within the security confines of the browser sandbox

  • probably best to stay with a locally owned gym if poasible

  • he's referring to the fact that a web browser is a 30 year old technology and there are apparently people still dont know what it is

  • wow, it seems notesnook has matured a LOT. After the self hosting comes out i wouldnt be surprised if it becomes the de-facto notes app recommendation for privacy communities. their free tier is just too good and they have zero VC connections. top notch.
