  • Keep your own personal records… take screen shots of every transaction and file them appropriately. Removing paper to be better for the environment shouldn’t change your habits.

  • Husk and all, straight on the grill, lets it steam in the husk. Cut off the knob end, squeeze from the other, and the entire corn will come out sans husk and silk.

    I don’t cook them any other way now.

    I do soak them in some salted water before, rehydrates the husk if they’re dried from storage so they don’t just catch on fire and provides moisture for the cooking.

  • Nah, some came with a little controller and you could change settings on the fly. The immediate benefit is better fuel economy on almost any mode. All it does is mess with the ecu within its limits. Doesn’t affect warranty and doesn’t cause any more wear.

  • I just recently read a short story with a similar concept, all pictures and videos have been banned since there was found to be images that will kill anyone when they look at them.

    When I get back to my anthology book I’ll look up what one it was, it’s in the Big Book of CyberPunk.

  • That’s because everything needs a pin, if you pay cash this still works this way. USA only started using pins around covid time iirc and it’s still not universal.

  • Ah they’re usually fine till under 10c but I do also believe it will create anthocyanins under more or less any type of stress as well. Bugs, rain, wind, etc.

  • Looks like they use one of those shitty industrial air fryers. They make wicked fries in minutes, but garbage for pizza or anything else really.

  • Lucky, my fruit has just started setting, but it’s also not looking like a good year. Heat wave during the start and it’s been only 6c a few times the last couple weeks and they don’t like that.
