  • There was an episode about Tucker on a meager/small podcast called Coexist Inc.

Coexist Inc's thesis on why Tucker is rallying against Israel - he is still a Zionist - and Trump is because Tucker, like Marjorie Taylor Green, can see where the wind is blowing. Grifters like those two aim to use rhetoric critical of capitalist decline or Israel and funnel it back into the right and away from the left.

The hope is that the restraining of Israel and US empire would rally politically malleable/ambivalent people back into the right and away from the left, away from solutions antagonistic towards capital and white supremacy, and ultimately fulfill the right's goal to use the power of the state to punish domestic enemies instead of stretching itself thin abroad.

On that point, the right would always use a martyr , authentic or fabricated, to destroy the remnants of the rule of law, liberal hegemony, and the power of activists, organizers, and labor. The ruling caste of US society is admitting openly that they will not redistribute wealth, allow labor to have leverage, and will enable and encourage a deteriorating social, economic, and environmental conditions.

It is difficult to determine whether we are in Lenin's Revolutionary Moment or just another phase & era of American distress.

  • I remember Chris Hedges recalling an anecdote of a conversation he, Bernie, and Kshama Sawant had about moving a third party and Bernie responded that he didn't want to be pushed out like Ralph Nader was. i.e, his career was more important than actually trying to start a movement.

  • Wow his career really skyrocketed after his departure in 22'. Well done Stavros.

  • What's Stavros doing here?

  • Whatever happened to Bureaucrat?

  • According to a United Nations special committee,[43] Amnesty International,[44] Médecins Sans Frontières,[45] B'Tselem,[46] Physicians for Human Rights–Israel,[47] International Federation for Human Rights,[48] numerous genocide studies and international law scholars,[49] and many other experts, Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians during its ongoing blockade, invasion, and bombing of the Gaza Strip.[50][51] Experts and human rights organisations identified acts of genocide, such as large-scale killing and use of starvation as a weapon of war, with the intent to destroy Gaza's population in whole or in part. Other such genocidal acts include destroying civilian infrastructure, killing healthcare workers and aid-seekers, using mass forced displacement, committing sexual violence, and preventing births.

    The opening paragraph of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_genocide.

"Intent to destroy" is a necessary condition to meet the legal threshold of genocide. Various scholars have argued that intent to destroy is proven by the statements of Israeli officials and by Israel's policies and conduct,[73][74][75] while various others disagree.

The last paragraph of the introduction.

  • To add a reinforcement of credibility, I can recall that reporters and politicians asked BLM activists, organizers, and protesters regarding victimizers and brutal behavior of police if they could forgive them.

I learned this tactic used by people of That was in the past or *Can't we put this behind us/forgive them" really just means "go home".

  • John Oliver went into the starvation in Gaza yesterday. This feels like a precursor of the intelligentsia being "always against this" or "not realizing" that Israel was "going too far".

  • Some people also went to Lemuria.

  • Why is the starvation of Gaza the pivotal point for these western liberal democracies and not the genocidal rhetoric, bombing, and annihilation beforehand?

Is it because the starvation is more apparent an act of sadism than simply immolating civilian population through bombings?

  • I think Hexbear grew out of its growing pains by early 2023, with the exception of the dunk_tank shutdown incident.

This vibe has been the norm since that year, I think.
