Hamas is a product of Israeli occupation. The IDF is a product of Israeli national identity.

If it wouldn't be Hamas, it would be a different violent organization, like before PFLP, PLO, etc. When people are brutally oppressed, it leads to violent resistance, that often will not limit itself to military targets.

Israel is running on the "Dahiya doctrine"

The Dahiya doctrine, or Dahya doctrine, is an Israeli military strategy involving the large-scale destruction of civilian infrastructure, or domicide, to pressure hostile governments. The doctrine was outlined by former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of General Staff Gadi Eizenkot. Israel colonel Gabi Siboni wrote that Israel "should target economic interests and the centers of civilian power that support the organization". The logic is to cause difficulties for the civilian population so much that they will then turn against the militants, forcing the enemy to sue for peace.

The doctrine is part of a strategy to turn everything around Israel into dysfunctional states in eternal fear of Israel. They are not interested in creating stable and peaceful relations with their neighbors and "integrating" into the region. Eternal exceptionalism maintained by eternal violence. The so called "Abraham accords" for normalization are only transitional as the ideology of "greater Israel" aims at conquering everything from the Nile in the West, to the Euphrat in the East, from Anatolia in the North to parts of the Arabian peninsula in the South.

Obviously that will fail and it is in the process of failing. The question remains how much longer the US, UK, Germany and other complicit countries are willing to maintain this, as Israel is escalating its violence to ever more unprecedented levels

Der Typ hat fiktive Autos gehandelt, und sich mit Umsatzsteuerrückzahlungen bereichert, die nie bezahlt wurden. Das ist ähnlich wie CumEx oder Umsatzsteuerkaruselle. Das ist schwerer gewerbsmäßig betriebener Betrug, und der Begriff Steuerhinterziehung kommt nur daher, dass er eben den Staat betrogen hat mit einer Steuermasche.

Ich hoffe es gibt eine langjährige Haftstrafe. Dagegen sind die meisten Drogenhändler und Juwelenräuber "kleine Fische".

The survey did not ask participants whether they support Palestinians more broadly, despite Israeli leaders repeatedly framing their war as being against all Palestinians, not only Hamas.

It was more the opposite way around.

In Western Germany the official apparatus was rebuilt relying extensively on mid- and sometimes high ranking Nazis. In the GDR former Nazis were kept out of higher positions, but the "denazification" was also insufficient as the problem was "solved" by decreeing that the GDR is antifascist, thereby looking deeper wasn't necessary.

For instance the author of the Nuremberg Race laws became a close trustee of chancellor Adenauer:

Another person not mentioned is Hanns Martin Schleyer. He is celebrated as a martyr nowadays and there is streets and stadiums named after him. He was assasinated by the RAF terrorists in 1977, when he was the head of the German employer association and the German industrial Federation.

The program is said to be for Civilian purposes only, but a lot of these aspects fall under "dual use" and it is enough to "state" a Civilian purpose. In the context of Israel we know the government and affiliated institutions to be notorious liars.

While guidelines regulating the Horizon framework require funded projects to be “exclusively focused on civil applications”, they acknowledge that a “considerable number of technologies and products are generic and can address the needs of both civil and military users”.

Technology that can serve both civil and military uses – so-called “dual use” – may qualify for EU funding as long as the stated objective is civil.

Manufacturing, Digital, Space Tech and Robotics are strong candidates for military technology. In particular Digital probably contains "cyber"-security which means both offense and defense capabilities for military uses, AI for mass surveillance by the police can be used for surveillance and targeting of "hostile" Civilians in a military context. Space Tech probably contains technology usable for spy satellites and missile systems. Robotics probably contains controls and technology usable for military surveillance and combat drones. As for manufacturing, high-tech military equipment relies on high-tech production systems.

I would just not care about the biofilm and wash it regularly. If you fill the bottle from a clean source and it doesnt smell or taste strange, the water should be fine for consumption.

You know your fresh water pipes also have biofilms in them? If it isnt contaminated, the microorganisms there are harmless. So if you get clean water from the pipes and your mouth has a healthy microbiome, where should potentially harmful microorganisms come from?

Only in rare amounts from the environment when you open the bottle. For that to create a buildup will take time. If you properly wash your bottle like once a week you should be fine.

No bottle will stay clean if you dont wash it from time to time.

DW is funded and run by the German government to improve Germanys image abroad. It is not a public broadcaster as those are financed through a government independent but obligatory system.

In regards to Palestine it ran a terrible hack job of Israeli propaganda until about earlier this year, when they realized that this is harming the image of Germany abroad much stronger than at least pretending balanced coverage.

Even if the reasons where mainly substance use and mental illness, those are still societal issues that require societal solutions through better health care access and overall more social security.

It is wild to me that in America "Oh you have a mental illness? Well go die then and don't leave your corpse for me to see!" is somehow a position that is considered acceptable among "progressives". It is deeply reactionary and a hallmark of fascists.

Corporate media and billions in oligarchy money.

It is sad that we keep having to repeat the same thing over and over again yet people refuse to learn. The Democratic party and the Republican party are both tools of the same oligarchy and they both fight against the normal people in different flavors. The Democrats happily gave the last election to Trump instead of stopping an US backed genocide and since then they often cooperated to help Trumps fascist power grab.

Unless the party is fundamentally changed and all its current and past leaders ousted and disgraced, it cannot be a means for bettering society.
