  • As much as I don't mind this, part of me thinks this won't do anything... Men who kill their female partners don't care about any possible consequences. If they thought about those they wouldn't abuse their partner in the first place. There's a reason the TF2 Sniper in his Meet the Team video says blokes who bludgeon their wife to death with a golf trophy have too many feelings. They literally cannot fathom consequences, considering that if their abuse manages to get to that point, it's because NO ONE cared to fucking intervene.

  • I would not be surprised in the slightest if the cause of Nvidia drivers being absolute dogshit lately is because this absolute fucking MORON is forcing the devs to use AI to code the DRIVERS. THE ONE THING YOU DO NOT WANT FUCKING AI MEDDLING WITH.

    If Microsoft did it with Windows 11 (which resulted in various SSD failures for a bunch of people), I have no doubt in my mind that Nvidia does it too.

  • Pretty much most of the CoD series... But then again I'm mostly a multiplayer guy, and I only really buy CoD games if I like the beta enough. BO7 is something I kinda do like (MP only with the occasional Zombies) but I have to agree with the fact the campaign is absolute cheeks. It's like Treyarch wanted to make a horror game campaign but they're stuck making Call of Duty so they just shoehorned it in. Which sucks, cause I KNOW they're capable of much more, the BO6 campaign was actually quite great.

  • That genuinely depends, actually.

    Narcissists are usually groomed all life and told they're special and extremely important and too valuable, so what can happen is that those people will feel like they NEED special attention OR to be the best, otherwise they're irredeemable failures, and they usually have very little (or a very fragile) self-esteem, AND they have insane amounts of self-doubt, self-criticism, or uh, just feel empty. That is what the majority of people with NPD experience. The "assholes" you see with NPD are the ones who actually managed to use their narcissism to get power over others, whether it be by having a child (and thus having power over them), becoming a boss, a successful capitalist, a teacher, or any of those other career paths that require you to have power over someone, AND were never told "no" at any point.

    Also, there is no such thing as "narcissistic abuse". A disorder cannot be abusive by definition. People can be evil assholes WITHOUT having any disorders, in fact that's the majority of people who are assholes. Claiming "all those guys's evilness can ONLY be explained by them having a mental illness" actually does two things you don't want to imply: one, that they cannot control being evil, and thus, are excused of it because "it is in their nature", and two, it makes it significantly harder for people who have those disorders BUT are not evil people OR assholes to seek help.

  • At least for me, a Steam Machine would be the ideal use case for my brother, since the literal ONLY game he plays is CS2. He used to play Fortnite, but he hasn't done that in years... and even then if he wanted we could just swap places between my current real computer and the Steam Machine. It's also really small so it wouldn't occupy much space on the other room of the house.
