When you had a shop you could set up a store front page using HTML and in doing so could use your shop to broadcast messages to other players that visited your shop .
Weren't there also player run shops, complete with fully HTML customizable store front pages?
Also weren't fully customizable html home pages, not unlike MySpace pages, a thing in Neopets? I could swear I had one, but maybe I'm remembering wrong?
Also there was a private message system if I recall correctly that could be used to send a message to any other Neopets user.
I just happened to be operating a government spy satellite watching your helicopter, as one does, while you were watching the three of them! I can confirm that all four of these people were at the specified place at the specified time doing the specified activities.
Can't IT lock things down if they so desire? That is the owner of the device using it as they see fit: Locking it down so the non technical users of the device can't break it. That you keep suggesting that devices should come out of the box restricted would make your IT job obsolete and in fact impossible to perform.
Edit: And before you ask yes I have worked in IT support, although I currently do not.
Even people who are not being supported by any IT department at all? For example, home users. If they break their device they will learn how to not break their next one and therefore become more technologically proficient.
