Battle Network. The rating stuff is actually decent in that series. Megaman Zero punishes you for using upgrades and making mistakes will take away rewards from you for good.
Right now, I am playing something way better than Megaman Zero: X3 Zero Project, v4.8 + MSU music. This romhack replaces the password saves with actual saving, has NG+, makes Zero into a fully playable character, and you can collect chips and still get the Gold Chip - you are just limited to using one upgrade chip at a time, until you get the special one.
Personally, I am guessing that the topic of work is considered a safe subject of one's existence. Most folks probably don't relate to each other, considering the breadth of hobbies and interests people have. I like Fantasy Maiden Wars, prefer UC Gundam without Newtype woo, and enjoy reading hentai manga. Methinks most people would be irritated, disinterested, or horrified by my existence.
We don't live in a world of local isolation. We can absorb cultures and ideas far from home, by choice, instead of being dyed by the people who live nearby. This is good and bad: we have the freedom to become our truer selves, but that also means we aren't forced to become incidental friends with people in meatspace.
It sucks that some innocent folks would relive bad memories from an unredacted release. On the other paw, that shield of civility is also letting horrible monsters have free reign to continue abusing people, or to escape the consequences of their sordid past.
As a society, we should be able to treat the survivors with kindness, and the understanding that they didn't "ask for it".
Hm. I have no useful skills, just lots of time. I have considered trying a Patreon or the like, for a specific kind of thing: "Newgame Plus".
In some solo videogames, you get to play future cycles of a game with maxed out characters, filled out maps, complete bestiaries, unlocked narrative routes, and so forth. I am wondering if my time spent on completing games could be used to create and centralize distribution of such savefiles, for a monthly subscription of $5 or so?
I got at least 60 NG+ savefiles on my PC, probably closer to a hundred. Plus cheated games to emulate the idea, such as System Shock 2 with +10 attributes (you normally cap at +8) or maxed skills in Ultima Underworld 1 & 2.
I bought a twin pack of Nutella from Costco. The unopened one developed mold after awhile, but the opened jar in the fridge was just fine. If anything, I was expecting at least the reverse.
Food lasts way longer than what one would expect. I got a bunch of eggs in the fridge from CostCo from about a year ago. They still taste alright, much to my surprise.
