  • The only reason there's a shortage of spaces in the first place is predatory design.

    An apartment I used to live in was newly built, and each building had big gated underground parking, as well as a very few small outdoor parking lots. It was really clear that the underground parking was supposed to be tenant parking and the parking lots were for visitors. Yet, they were charging for the underground parking, and that outdoor parking lot was 100% full 99.99% of the time.

    And now, apartment complexes are being built that don't have that outdoor parking, and only have the underground parking, and the management wants to sell the underground parking as extra, rather than just letting people use the parking meant for them, and so all the street parking is taken up.

    I had a friend in that more recent design, and it was in a residential neighborhood. So you have a bunch of apartment tenants parking all along the streets by a bunch of houses. It was awful... For everybody involved.

    But the landlord has to make enough money to do fuckall and buy another yacht somehow.

  • I'm an old counterstrike player, so highly polished comp fps is my home. But I don't play any of them anymore because none of them have good foundations, so I've been sticking to PvE stuff the last decade or so.

    It goes like this:

    Two guys from Infinity Ward left that unhappily and then founded the titanfall studio.

    They needed money, so ea bankrolled them.

    They released Titanfall 1, which was pvp only. It was supposedly great.

    Then released Titanfall 2, which was pvp, but also has a really good campaign. 2016

    Immediately after, ea acquires the studio. 2017

    They released a mobile game. 2017

    Relaxed apex

    Released some jedi games

    Where titanfall 3 continuation of the story???

    Titanfall 2 is on sale for like 6 bucks on steam right now. I highly think it's worth it just for the campaign. Don't read anything, don't watch anything, just go play it. It's a short campaign, like 5-12 hours depending on how fast you play through stuff like that.

  • I'm disappointed it was removed. I'm also disappointed it was reported multiple times. It's fucking disgusting, but there weren't pictures of it and this place is supposedly for adults who don't just destroy stuff they don't like. It gave me a little spark of joy from the old internet and I'm sad to see that be so quickly snuffed out, especially in this place.

  • Just played through the campaign for Titanfall 2. Awesome. Now I understand why people fucking hate Apex. Never played that either, but Titanfall 2 was actually a really good game and then EA comes along and shits all over it and wants them to make mobile games and stuff. Really, EA is just a bunch of evil morons.
