Not the original commenter, but from what I've read, the laws would require operating systems to collect name and DOB in the user account setup process. No facial scans, photos, IDs or other verification required, so it seems very easily bypassed by simply lying.
My mind is blown every time I read that a major company has unleashed an "AI Agent" on production systems and code. Like, did everyone in the IT industry suddenly grow stupid and forget the most basic rule? Always sandbox and test. You never ever fuck around on production systems!
I guess setting up a test environment would take too much time and these chucklefucks must move faster and break more stuff.
Judge ordered no cameras in the court, and even if they were allowed, why would a judge allow one party to bring their own cameras that have facial recognition capabilities?
Camera in courtrooms are for transparency with the public, not for the defense to get facial scans of jurors and witnesses.
The judge made it clear no cameras or recording equipment were allowed in the session and they brought wearable cameras that have facial recognition capabilities. That is the definition of contempt of court.
Ummm... It would be very easy for DHS to just run a random fediverse instance to ingest all the content for analysis. It's not as bad as reddit and IG working with DHS directly, but don't count on the fediverse to keep you off any government list, especially if you don't use VPN.
"Democracy Manifest" (also known as "Succulent Chinese Meal", amongst other names) is a viral video and internet meme. It was recorded in 1991 for a news segment by the reporter Chris Reason and uploaded to the internet in 2009. YouTube has several postings of the video with more than a million views each.[1] In 2019, The Guardian called it "perhaps the pre-eminent Australian meme of the past 10 years".
