  • I had a narcissist in my life. I watched a ton of YouTube videos about how to deal with the situation. I went no contact with the person. I packed and move into my car for a few months. I found land and now live on bare land in an RV.

It’s kind of depressing that this narcissist is holding my other family members away from me as leverage against me, but they can no longer spread lies about me since they have no contact with me.

It’s still 1000x better life for me. Made tons of friends all around this new area in the past year here. Have work now, and things are just better.

I feel that living the way I do also is the opposite is what the narcissist would say about me. (They said I was free loading off them, I was lazy, didn’t want to work, etc). Now that I’m doing all those things I truly reflect back and see the narcissist is the one that is lazy, etc. feels good to finally be away from that abuse.

  • I used to run one of those link sites. It’s extremely difficult to monitize it unless you deal with really sketchy sponsors. Can’t have google ads on a pron site. I had a few afffiliates but they gave credits that I never got to a payout threshold. It ended up being not worth it and we shut it down.

  • A few years ago I had a threadripper server, then I had to move. I planned it out to have a little low power NAS for traveling.

Now I live offgrid in an RV with some solar panels. My little NAS can be powered by 12V so I have it plugged into a cigarette lighter plug on my battery. It’s been working great so far, has docker so I have a bunch of stuff running on it now.

  • Slrpnk worked, I had to use that during the outage.

  • Some tea bags are plastic.

  • I went no contact then moved far away. It helps lol

  • Not yet, I do plan to get some. We have an incubator and some solar coop doors we found deals on. We have some free fencing from Craigslist. Eventually we will get everything and build a coop and chicken run.

  • During college. Worked in IT and the biggest raise I could get from the CEO above my minimum wage pay was $1 per hour. Even with a friend we couldn’t afford to rent a place. Houses went from $300,000 to $1,000,000 over a few years while I was working there. That’s when I knew living in the city and having a house was off the tables. 20 years later I now live in an RV off grid in the middle of the desert. Own the land, own the freedom. (Plus the land was cheaper than 1 year of rent in the city)

  • 1/2 to 3/4 of my drives are from server parts deals, only had one of them give me issues and I think the issue was the SATA cable I had. I have several servers.

They are used drives, but I only paid about $100-125 each. Keep watching their site and things go in and out of stock all the time. I wait until they have a good price.

  • I had to use the Reolink app and it generates a QR code that programmed my camera. But after setup I can use HA to control the camera, move it, zoom, etc.

  • One of my best uses for home assistant is fine tuning the fridge and freezer temperatures.

At one point the fridge was not cycling and just running the compressors nonstop. I was able to adjust it so it cycles properly and stays within proper temperatures.

I also use it to monitor temperature and humidity inside and outside, cloud patterns, sun set and sun rise times, monitor power use and all my batteries and charge status (off grid). And will keep adding more and more. Hoping to some day monitor my water tanks that will collect rain water soon.

All this and it only consumes maybe 3 watts for all the smart stuff.

Before I moved we used it to have automatic lights in some rooms, and when someone goes in front of the driveway camera all the lights in the house changed color to let us know. That alone was a life saver.

  • Back in my day we burned a lot of CDs…

  • I tried to use AI to help me code, it only gave me trash.

  • Cheap RV living on YouTube is quite popular because people are choosing to live in their vehicles and the freedom to be anywhere.

When I moved, I choose to live in my car for several months. It’s not too bad.

  • I saw a YouTube video from a professor that explains how our brains need at least 15 minutes of nothing so it can be creative. Everyone now has a smart phone that takes that away from us. AI is just next level taking that away from us. It’s destroying all our minds.

  • You have nothing to hide now, but when laws change, now there’s evidence you broke the law.

  • That cheapRVliving channel saved me when I had to move and get away from abuse. Lived in my car for several months. Life is so much better now.

  • I had one of those cameras maybe 20 years ago, it took really good pictures. I used to carry it with me everywhere and always looked for artsy stuff to take pictures of.

  • Chucke2008

I think was the channel name. He showed welding and fabrication, one day he was reading something weird on video Idk and got canceled.
