  • Definitely agree with this, and also consider those who are unable to vote. By this i mean those who arent registered for whatever reason, or cant get to a poll. I encourage everyone to help with getting people to the polls this midterm: volunteer to drive people And share how on social media

    Let's face it those of us in USA aren't going to general strike or anything any time soon. Least we can do is the little rebellions.

    At work (flight attendant) if someone's card declines....no it doesn't. If someone is nice i fake swipe. And i do free upgrades when it makes sense (tall people and passengers-of-size as a priority). It used to be the norm i think, but now we have to be a bit cheeky with it.

    Also please use all of your sick time and vacation time every year, or you are just giving your ceo/owner a bonus.

  • This is important. My first solution reading the comment was to just focus on number of books and let the kids pick their own to get the love of reading. However this would be very difficult for a teacher to maintain if they wanted to do any analysis.

    So maybe have a short list of a variety of books, and the material could be prepared to discuss themes. Maybe also having students present/teach others what they learned?

    There would have to be one or two books at least in a year that were an assigned read for the whole class to get deeper into the text.
