What really seems more likely here? That there's a grand conspiracy of people lying about this thing working all over the internet, to zero benefit to themselves and without knowing anyone who would try it and fail to improve? Or that this is a treatment that just doesn't have a 100% success rate?
Nobody's targeting you, nobody's trolling you. People who suggest this thing aren't trying to hurt you, they're not trying to lie to you, they are doing what little they can to try to help. You've tried it, it didn't work, it's time to see an actual doctor. If the simple treatment isn't effective, then things aren't going to improve on their own.
