  • With all the modern horrors in the news, we deserve some good news from time to time.

  • And what do those things cost somewhere that isn't using the dumb member card system?

You're not getting a deal, non-catdholders are getting shafted while you pat yourself on the back and the store sells shockingly detailed data about you.

  • Missed the part where they said "with your local area code" huh.

  • Well, file taxes and tell us how that went. Because if you didn't keep the receipts as a record of the exact amount and proof of those donations, you don't get to submit them for a tax break. Vibes and memories don't cut it for tax deductions.

So yeah the customer technically gets that tax break, but its more work than it's worth to actually claim it.

  • You'd know because he would be too fucking hobbled to try another takedown in boxing.

  • I'm pretty sure that on any given week of his administration president dumbshit has done something so scandalous that it would have completely ended anyone else's career. He only survives because his cult doesn't care at all about what he does, only that he makes "the Libs" angry and hurts the "right people."

  • That's my point though. If someone's stated position is that a thing doesn't work, putting them in charge of the thing is pretty much assured to make that thing not work.

  • Well the GOP loves to say that government doesn't work, and surprise surprise when they're in charge it's the one thing they're right about.

  • Remember when the Republicans wouldn't shut up about their theory that the Biden administration was covering up Bidens supposed health problems? You know, exactly like they're doing for Trump now?

  • Yeah but how much of that is useful as opposed to just... there. It's a bike, you're going to struggle to try to get passengers or oversized cargo on it. Having infinite space out to the sides is only helpful if you're especially claustrophobic. Having infinite space upwards only helps if you're too tall for the containment. A bike doesn't benefit from all that space.

  • Well, it's a bike.

  • I haven't really seen demands for lower prices on AI slop, but I've seen a lot of outright refusal to buy at any price, and returns when the disclosure came later.

  • Another example of how Steam is the dominant PC gaming platform primarily because the competition keeps shooting itself in the foot.

  • Any one of those would have been the absolute end of a political career for anyone else, but his cult doesn't care. They celebrate it every time he makes the people they don't like angry. His MAGAts would celebrate him for shooting someone in the street if the victim had rainbow hair and stated pronouns.

  • Well it makes sense. After all his study into reaching for but never quite grasping things, a shift into right wing commentary is only natural.

  • Are we going to ask how and why the tub half blockes that door?

  • Tell us you're from .ml without telling us.

  • And then wait for them to do it again in about 10 years to grab for even more. It's not a peace plan, it's surrender.

  • Well, it's a lot easier to call Steam a monopoly and complain about unfair competition than it is to try to implement the same features and actually compete.
