I would say 'no' on principle. No child of mine will EVER receive virtual currency as a present for Christmas. I would sooner buy them £120 worth of games than even £5 in Robux.
Under that argument you could grind up the dead and use them for fertilizer. I guess if you're being 100% practical it makes sense, but humans have a certain sentimentality for their loved ones, dead or otherwise, and so don't tend to like it when you use the corpses in a way contrary to the wishes of the estate.
In a world of no consequences, my 'helping' people would inevitably result in hurting others, because there are some people out there that deserve to be hurt. As a result, I would make for a terrible Superman. I don't like being the villain in games, but I'm 100% certain if I got power IRL, I would abuse it and use it to destroy people.
My guess is they're going to do what Microsoft do (or used to do until about 6 months ago) when you want to sideload anything on their consoles: They charge you. You buy dev access for your account and use it to unlock your phone.
It does when you're collecting multiple retro consoles, all their cables, any adapters you need for modern TVs. I've had to make do with a Series S in dev mode running Retroarch for my retro gaming needs, and even then I can't get it to use anything other than an Xbox controller.
It's times like this I wish I had a bigger house. There's so much of this old tech I just want, or at least I want to see and hold them. Basically I want a hands-on retro gaming museum.
Technically that's down to Imgur. Basically the UK government told Imgur to stop selling children's data to advertisers and Imgur was like "No, we're going to keep doing that and you're blocked".
But, OFCOM basically said "Okay sure you can block the UK and that will stop you selling any children's data going forward, but you still sold children's data in the past, so the fine still stands" and now it's kinda in limbo because Imgur doesn't have a UK office so there's nowhere to extract the money from. However, even if Imgur did introduce age assurance (which is increasingly likely given that Imgur is based in California and California is flirting with age assurance requirements too) and therefore would be in compliance with the Online Safety Act, they would still be fined because they failed to protect children's data in the past.
I would have thought a 10 would be "Kill me, right now. I am in so much pain I would much rather be dead than spend another minute like this" and anything below that depends on where the pain is, like if it's your arm I would consider a 9 to be "This hurts so much you can get out the hacksaw and chop off my arm because at least then the pain will be gone".
So... Not so much "How much does it hurt?" as "How far are you willing to go to stop it hurting?"
The French refuse to learn English out of spite, not ability. Infact I wouldn't put it past a Frenchman to be completely fluent in English but when asked say they don't understand a word, just because they despise the British so much.
normally you'd have a congress that flexed its power to stop the President from touching rights at all, but over time the Executive has become more and more powerful and Congress more and more impotent.
Venture capitalist Bradley Tusk told LBC: “If Elon Musk says he needs a trillion dollars because he's going to solve global hunger or something like that, great, have at it. But I don’t know what you could possibly buy with a trillion dollars that you couldn't buy with a hundred billion, or probably even $10 billion.”
Well at least he's aware of how much money a trillion dollars is and how easy it would be to solve world hunger.
If the cartels wanted her dead, no amount of security would save her. She's only in that position because the cartels allow her to be in that position.
Me too, I tried using Firefox on Mac but for some reason its power consumption is insanely high.
