The propaganda is rather excellent.

The US is a great place to live… if you’re already wealthy. Everyone else? Not so much.

Why bother getting rid of it (other than political reasons)? If even one website is using it, getting rid of it would hurt them.

Also it bothers me that despite “.us” existing, the United States uses .com or .gov as to state that the US is the “standard”.

Despite the fact that Islam commands that “people of the book” are to be protected?! Despite that Palestine protected the Jewish people for centuries when Westerners were forcing them into ghettos, pogroming them or genociding them?

I could potentially see it in the West but we still need things to get a lot worse, we’re going to need to see a massive drop in the quality of life and under an explicitly fascist regime.

Bizarre my personal experience full of privilege, I spend most of my time between NYC and London, and in the circles I’m in, everything seems great to everyone involved. Even though the illusion is shattered the moment you actually have conversations with average people.
