  • You’re subject to the conditions of the world/country/city etc that you live in. Don’t believe capitalist propaganda, communism isn’t a vow of poverty. In the US the conditions still aren’t at the level (but things are rapidly moving) of the usefulness of a Vanguard Party but the Empire is punch drunk with multiple major wars lost, a declining economy, and a government increasingly desperate to keep things together through force.

    For now, educate yourself and link up with entities that seek relief for what is possible in this poisoned nation.

    The most important role that he plays is moving the Overton Window, that alone is much more important than anything he actually achieves. Just him refusing to “recognize Israel as a Jewish state”, claims he doesn’t like capitalism and literally just being Muslim has shifted the narrative over what is permissible in the eyes of normies. And NYC is front and center in the US, this isn’t Hoof Hearted, Kansas.

    So I’m willing to say his election is of massive importance, even if what he actually accomplishes is lackluster.

  • Tbf, the Democrats had until June 24th to change their candidate, in theory it’s already over. But we all know how these things are… Mamdani was lucky that polls actually seriously underestimated his support, with reports of many “shy Mamdani voters” skewing results.

    I think it’s more likely they’re just going to go all in on supporting Adam’s independent run as the “enlightened centrist”.

  • PewDiePie (especially at the beginning) started the trend of screaming a lot in his videos, and then kids channels did it to get more engagement and now it’s just become a staple on all of YouTube, look at all content creators and they’re basically always shouting at the top of their lungs.

    Several YouTubers like HuskyStarcraft and Jacksepticeye hurt their vocal cords and had to moderate their speaking and lost a ton of viewers, with the former straight up deleting his channel because people seem to not want to watch them without the screaming.

  • I have a theory: Just do sports, don’t lift, at least not as your main form of exercise. I have always felt that women can somehow smell it on the guys, I dunno.

    The funny thing is that while most male Americans (and increasingly Westerners in general) are fat (which isn’t attractive to most straight women) the maximum body for getting the ladyfolk is not that much muscle and you should be slightly underweight but not shredded.

    The biggest thing about a great physique for attracting mates is confidence, and for men, the toxic gym culture ends up creating a really fucked up body dysmorphia. I worked at the university gym during college and let me tell you the bizarre things I heard… like some guy refusing to go ask a woman out that was sending him all the signs of attraction because he was too embarrassed that his calf muscles were too small or upset that his lats weren’t looking better.
