  • I ordered a couple of NAS drives during the holiday specials thinking the same thing. Received a confirmation email saying they would ship in a few days. 4 weeks passed without a single peep from WD. Started to get nervous my order would be cancelled. Then first week of January I got an email saying they were backordered but should be fulfilled "soon". Didn't get my drives till end of January but well worth the wait.

  • 199 is absurd? I'm lost on what other smartwatch with these specs are around this price point. I like it, wish the band was a bit thicker. But more than anything I wish they would make something a bit more fitness focused so I could ditch the apple watch completely. The only reason I even use it anymore is for fitness tracking. The fact android offers no other (somewhat) reasonable privacy focused fitness/health tracking is what's absurd to me.

  • If I'm out in public and needing to send or receive something on the fly and not go through the process of convincing someone to download an app they likely won't download I'll use Send it has come in handy in a pinch. I typically use Localsend as well but have never been able to get it to work on GOS devices.

  • That's wild I didn't know it was a Netflix movie as I came across it on the Prime. I never assumed the son was gay, but definitely on the polarizing side of James, I would say eccentric at the very least. I just saw it as a kid being a kid and trying to figure out who he was. When Richson's character blew them up I definitely gave an audible "wait what the fuck?!" Even though I watched it alone out of boredom. The way I see it, only one of the clones was humanized through the film. The remaining hundreds that popped up last minute were only seen as killing machines. Nothing more. Because they didn't go through the same growth process as the one did, that made it ok to blow them up? I guess? I don't know man, between that and the mom mafia, the messages in that movie were all kinds of fucked up. I chuckled once or twice but overall it was an awful waste of time.

  • I was checking those out but zenni does state in a way their tech is not perfect. I like that you can add that feature to any of their frames but then again not all frames may be the most suitable for every angle. Either way zenni isn't associated with luxxotica so they may still get my business.
