We had some super old code in our company monorepo that was written by someone who became the CTO, there was a comment forbidding people from writing private methods in the code base because "we aren't babies". It explained so much about the awful code and why everything was crazy.
Is this supposed to make me believe in God? As if people who die in a plane crash know more about the universe than me somehow? Does falling really fast instill some ancient forgotten knowledge in you?
Why are we always expected to change our behavior to benefit the economy? I need to buy more? The economy is all made up why can't it change to meet the needs of the people?
It's funny because I learned to program with strongly types languages and when I moved over to JavaScript I always complained about it for the longest time but now that I use mostly typescript at work I kind of miss some of the old JavaScript patterns and their flexibility. But for working with large teams or large projects in general it's nice to have typescript
But her having cancer is not. Plenty of people were diagnosed with cancer why wouldn't their family be affected? It's not like anyone knew who she was.
It's like saying Kevin Bacon' 3rd cousin has cancer and thinking that's news
They shouldn't have been loans in the first place. The government benefits from its citizens being educated. They already make money from it without charging interest so why did it ever need to be a loan in the first place?
