  • When it changes a word that you've spelled correctly and intentionally into something completely different is when I want to chuck the thing across the room.

  • Is it really on the device manufacturer that people don't change the default password? That's advice that's been around so long and it's the first thing they tell you in computer training.

Default passwords have their use cases for testing, ease of set-up, and for device recovery.

  • They really need to give it more powerful processors. It felt like a shame that Tears of the Kingdom ran so poorly that it was uncomfortable to play.

    Nintendo's games deserve better hardware.

On a related note, why don't they put a GPU in the dock so that the games can run much better when connected to a TV?

  • CBD is a godsend for my wife who has pretty bad anxiety. It's worth trying for a week or two for sure, especially because you don't have to go to a doc to get it. And if you don't like it, just come off it and you're back where you started.

  • That's how I use it. And it works.

Justin on MBMBAM recently talked about a "Xeet" instead of a tweet, pronounced "Zeet" and I thought that was also hilarious.

  • If it looks like a joke and sounds like a joke, it's probably made by Elon Musk.

  • Tomatoanus

Not because of the pattern perks, really, but because his Speedrun explainers are just so good. They consistently high quality, informative, and you can tell there's a lot of work that goes into them.

  • It's the support angle, for me. I seriously don't have to worry at all whether a piece of software supports Windows or not. And in my special case, my school doesn't help with troubleshooting unless you're using Windows or Mac because "of the many variations of Linux," they said.

But that's kinda typical of everything, how's tech support going to help you troubleshoot something that has a million variables? I can fix things, but can the typical user? Definitely not.

  • Sold out for Nashville. The tickets went on sale April 19th, which really sucks that I'm only finding out about this now.

    Would have been amazing.

  • What happens is that it all gets paved over for wider highways, more expansive empty parking lots, and sprawling suburbs.

It happens everywhere in the US, but particularly in Texas. It's an asphalt nightmare.

  • That's honestly what astounds me sometimes, but I guess it makes sense. There's heart, soul, and passion in an indie game made by a small team.

AAA games fall victim to the "designed by committee" sameness and just-good-enough gameplay.

  • Won't you please consider how this might make the advertisers feel? They might get very upset.../s

  • Should we give them gatling guns?

  • Fuck it, make it a smooth funnel

  • Matthew: "Okay, but really Jesus, like if I end up fucking my brother's wife, how's he going to feel about that when I die? And you said earlier that I could fuck his wife. Everyone heard it."

  • I imagine a field of Margot Robbies standing around like pokemon barking "Margot Robbie! Margot Robbie!"

  • The peel? Rind?

Why does "Lemon Skin" freak me out so much?

  • Did Kevin invent Beach Balls?
