Substitute “farming fears” with “Putin alliance”.
The past has vanished.
The present is infinitely small.
The future is infinitely variable.
…for every point in the infinite universe.

Let’s give our heads a shake, regularly. Sweep out the cobwebs of ideology, cultivate #CriticalThinking.
None of us is 100% right, nor 100% wrong. Each of us is a grain of sand in a world of knowledge.

@atro_city
Why wait till 2040?!! No-one has any idea what the world will look like in 2040!!

@susieq0044 @schizoidman
Putin has already lost 1.5 million soldiers.
That is a lesson that German youth are taking.

@tomi000 @HowRu68
I will often pitch in (just the once, with “#Links?” & “#Sources?”) when I see lies, gross exaggerations or, most frequently “Breaking news”/“Just in” that doesn’t cite sources or posts years-old “news”.
And unfortunately, I see it coming from across the political spectrum.
It’s true that the Right generally don’t care as long as the lie fits their position/prejudice, while the Left generally feel scammed when they find they’ve been led up the garden path by their own side.

@mrgoosmoos @Paulemeister
I hit that block almost every week!
Especially when backing up email in MS that is saved under the Subject name, which can be very long.

@jqubed @woelkchen
Bulgaria could just create (& own) the .bu domain, put all govt web on .bu & offer free transfer from any other .bg to .bu. No need to buy out .bg at all.

@thanksforallthefish @birdwing
The EU are planning the “digital euro” as an alternative to the US stranglehold on international finance, but this will take YEARS to build, if ever!!
And there is so much more they need to protect, inc the entire EU-based web.
In any case, The World needs a secure, independent alternative to ICANN, before it goes rogue.

@TheBrideWoreCrimson @CountVlad47
They’re all cults. Trump, Reform/Farage, Le Pen, etc.
The flimsiest of any rational reason to vote for them, doesn’t matter, it’s the hate & the blame, particularly of groups that can’t answer back or defend themselves. That infuses a deep, intoxicating & irresistible feeling of power & invincibility.

@HieroProtagonist @blackshirt
That has traditionally been the case because the historical account was the exclusive copyright of the “winner”.
Now, however (as we can see e.g. with Israel’s century of terrorism and crimes against humanity), the truth is harder to hide.
#Germany is on the wrong side of history, and that won’t change, whoever “wins”.
@CAVOK
I’ve had several of my own @_URLs since I first connected to the Internet & currently run them through Thunderbird. And there is an extension on TB for exporting emails (in readable .eml format) called “ImportExportTools NG” that I run every month so I can clean up my (busy) mailbox regularly but still archive/have access to years of mail.
(I also send TB the odd donation once in a while for the service.)
For URL hosting I suggest OVH, Infomaniak (France & Switz) but Proton email too.

@melsaskca @supersquirrel
It hasn’t though.
Zionists DO NOT REPRESENT THE JEWS that were victims of the Holocaust!
Reparations were supposed to be for the victims of the Holocaust, not for Zionist Israel!
According to Jewish historian Zachary Foster, Zionists only allowed wealthy, healthy, able-bodied Jews into Palestine/Israel, NOT weak, starving survivors of the camps.
None of the Israeli cabinet is descended from Holocaust death-camp victims or survivors.

@IronBird @supersquirrel
And not a single member of the current Israeli govt had any direct ascendants imprisoned in the Nazi death camps.
@copacetic
All I see is a mostly white page with some scattered text, graphs with no legends, a map with no cues, a very large EU flag & a photo of windmills.

@interesting @CAVOK
What’s their rationale?

@pleksi @Pip
It does #Trickledown but the model is upside-down. The millions of tiny (low-income) streams are at the top & they trickle down, giving life to people, crops, animals & the economy on the way, to the few big (1%) oceans.

@Halcyon @Quittenbrot
What would you suggest? (Apart from cats & dogs, that aren’t wild.)
(I would opt strongly for the essential honeybee.)
@jdr @alcoholicorn
Putin is a bit like the 4th contender for replacement, Bibi, in that he needs his war to keep going to protect his job.
Trump clearly thinks he needs one too.
I’m sure Zelenskyy would be happy to no longer be President but needs peace & a full electoral complement to justify calling an election.
