  • two lifetimes of protection

  • I was gonna say "90% of the time" but fuck it... Discard...

  • Simply fill your bath with lotion and bathe in that instead of water!

  • I just played last night at it was fine. Not to mention last time I noticed an issue (months ago) it was fixed within a week or so. They may not officially support Linux, but they do try to fix issues if they come up...

  • I'll happily bake 2 dozen cookies today to eat them all in one sitting tomorrow...

  • I'm a colemak typer and I switched my phone to it to help when I was learning and it actually works really well since it emphasizes alternating hands it makes thumb typing pretty fluid. It does also tend to have some finger rolls which really just feels like tapping as you move your fingers back to the middle of the keyboard.

Not to say there aren't better, I was just surprised how well it worked

  • And Pat

  • Hey, this one's expired!!

  • Gladly

  • My bet is on "wanted pets while the human had a highlighter in hand"

  • Or just buy the same mouse and replace the casing with the spray painted one

  • This is exactly the thing I can seem to get anyone to agree with me on ... Imported goods will never become significantly more expensive than American for the reason you just said...

There's a lot of money in figuring out the right margin below the imported product such that they'll lose some sales but ultimately profit more because of the increased profit margins. Not that you were seriously saying it would be a dollar cheaper but most I talk with tend to think that difference is much bigger than I expect which tends toward single digit percentage differences

  • Just trying to figure out how to work those blinds to let more sun in

  • Nah, just low effort... that paragraph he wrote is anything but....

  • Yeah, it compresses better too though, and jpeg XL can be configured to compress lossless, which I imagine would also work here

  • Full disclosure, I didn't watch the video yet, but it's likely a difference of environmental impact.

He's described in previous videos how burning gas at home is less efficient from the standpoint of a carbon footprint. I imagine this video is to help explain everything in a way that helps you come to that conclusion yourself. Teach a man to fish instead of just giving a fish and what not. So you can apply the knowledge to other things in your life

  • I doubt a central system would ever be viable, but they would certainly communicate to other nearby cars with more than just blinky lights

  • Native is always better, but Proton (what's used by steam OS to run windows games) has worked for me for every title I've tried (even some small indie titles)... Sometimes graphics settings can be inconsistent, but I'd say it's a pretty safe bet if you're using an established engine it will just work with Proton

  • Yeah I don't plan on switching unless I feel like I need to... Knowing what made others give up just helps me from wasting time fighting through something that might be a common issue...

I picked Nobara for it to be no-hassle, which it's done a great job of for me so far
