  • The best part about all these articles is that the Americans talk about how much they love Canadians. When it comes down to it though, they just love the dollars. There is nothing else they refer to loving about them in the articles from what I've seen.

    My favorite part:

    Border town officials say there's a range of reasons why Canadians aren't heading south anymore — from the weak exchange rate compared to the U.S. dollar, to the lack of consumer carbon tax making gas a little bit cheaper up north.

    No mention of the threat of arrest, disappearance, being shot, etc.

  • I often do this too, sometimes I ask people for recommendations, hear a song on a show, or hear something in passing I like. Some of my coworkers have given me great recommendations especially.

    Sometimes I'll go to albums I like and check out other peoples collections to see what they've also bought. Some of my favorite tunes have been found this way.

  • I feel like it had RPG elements with the soldier upgrades and equipment. There was progression in what your characters could do. This game was amazing, I'd love a remake of this with some small graphical and quality of life improvements.
