I feel genuinely called out - I thought everyone likes poking holes in clogs and watching standing water drain out. Especially people who walk or cycle a lot and don't like being splashed by cars
We all know AI doesn't serve society, but I'm shocked that shareholders aren't revolting based off how much cash has been incinerated for no good return
They used to be required, but the car industry knew that it pointed to the driver being responsible for collisions, so they lobbied to have the requirement dropped.
Using generative AI (GenAI) here as the term to differentiate from analytic AI
Once the bubble pops, the flow of venture capital funds will dry up. Once those funds dry up, the GenAI companies will need to charge users to cover the costs. Almost no individual is willing to pay for GenAI, since the output is such poor quality. Almost all GenAI companies will go out of business. The few that consolidate & survive will charge quite a bit, since the inference costs of GenAI are so high, let alone the training costs of new models. This will cause a drop-off in usage from individuals since it will not be profitable to create slop content on social media platforms.
It's almost like making the same corporate "games as a service" garbage that is already proven to be a failure again was a bad idea. Maybe one day this will be learned, but I bet hundreds of more millions of dollars will be wasted trying again in the future.
I'm surprised to see pretty much all the comments stating that they prefer the warm lights. It hurts my eyes and feels very awkward to have light coming in through windows into a room with warm lighting, so I mostly use daylight bulbs.
Do warm lighting people just keep the lights off when their curtains are open, or am I alone in this issue?
Why don't you ask her directly? If she's so obsessed with it, I'm sure she would like to explain her interests. Might be a really good bonding opportunity!
Over the long term, I suspect the sugar spikes and crashes would cause you to eat a lot more calories/sugar than a normal diet, and likely lead to diabetes.
Multivitamins are useful some a small handful of nutritional deficiencies but wouldn't come close to rescuing this diet.
