  • I found that once an event has happened at least 2 years ago, I start to forget what year exactly it happened and have to stop and think. That seems to be the threshold for me.

  • I like to clean up the kitchen/dishes during downtime. Like when the dough needs to rise for an hour is a perfect opportunity to clean up. Plus it gives you space for the next step in the baking process.

  • Visiting my parents this week for Thanksgiving. Last night my dad asked when I'm going to get my hair cut (I started growing it out three years ago to donate; I still fully intend to do that, but I also grew it out for me). When I mentioned early next year, he said guys are going to start hitting on me soon, then laughed. While I'm sure he was trying to shame me with that comment, I'll take it as a compliment since it means I'm looking pretty fem now. So I'm happy.

  • If you look at it from the wrong angle, it looks like something else.

Edit: Bonus gomphaceae sprout in front of it.

  • For me, when I open an Excel file from our business partner, it will always open in protected view which limits the functions the document can do. I then have to tell it to open in regular view which closes the doc and reopens it, wasting my time. But sometimes even doing that won't solve the problem. It will say I have to go into the doc's properties and mark it as "safe". That requires closing it yet again. Right clicking it in file explorer, and checking a box in the properties tab. Then I get to reopen it yet again. And I have to do this nearly every single time. Fun stuff.

  • Saaaame. It really fucking sucks figuring out your true self just as fascism starts to rise again. The variety of negative emotions I feel from this makes me want to shut this part away from me again. But Idk if I can do that again. So now I get to think about:

How fem can I dress without risking too much of my safety? And how fem is too fem before I need to worry about using a public bathroom? Do I need to ask my friends to go to the bathroom with me now just to feel safe enough?Fun times.

  • My parents had an '88 Marquis that had cigarette lighters in the back doors. On a road trip as a kid, I learned how quickly those lighters heat up: pretty fast. Don't test it yourself.

  • I mean, I could see there being solar powered robots. So, kind of, yeah.

  • As a fan of the old Rangers, it's disappointing to see them that big.

  • Ugh finally. I thought I was having a fever dream about beating it on the bridge back in the day. I never realized the bug was that old.

  • There is an old tree stump nearby, so it's possible it was growing on a piece from that.

  • There might be, but he did not let us know about it if there is.

  • Nope, 100% real. My roommate has a pet and the landlord forced them to pay a $50/month pet fee.

  • Don't forget that your landlord forces you to pay through a 3rd party company that charges a "convenience" fee of ~3% so your $600 rent is actually $620.

    Ask me how I know.

  • We need to revive other mega fauna first, otherwise they'll just eat us as the next best choice. Big predators require big prey.

  • Him being 33 years old hits me kind of hard (in a good way) because I'm just a year younger than him. When I see his age, one of my first thoughts is, "That could be me." Seeing candidates my age actually succeeding instead of geriatric ones actually makes me feel represented and that I could do something similar, too. Obviously not Mayor of the largest city in the US, but I could run for a city council position in the town I live in. And this makes it feel like I could actually succeed.

That's huge to feel in this day.
