  • Okay, you do you.

  • I think we have very different images of unions and social democrats. They usually support fossils (mining, steel) and defence industry, no?

Leftwing doesn't mean green to me, but I see that this overlaps often as well.

  • Based on the wikipedia section you shared, Dopfner's criticism of Google, Kuwait Airlines and the German political establishment seems quite mainstream and liberal left. Could it be that you take offense with his Zionism? That is the only thing that doesn't sound mainstream.

  • Same here. Ground news has a very different view on Politico Europe

  • Always the same spiel. These opportunities are far overstated. Trade is but one important factor.

  • That makes total sense. Different countries, different needs.

  • What a bizarre claim/title. Does NPR really believe this or are they bowing to their new masters?

  • Love it!

  • Germans might work more if they pay lower income tax and contributions on salaries. Why not tax income from sales of financial products more to make up for it?

  • The quote on the "nobility of the Nazis" is shocking.

  • The production of EVs involves fewer tasks for humans, compared to combustion engine cars. No surprise here. It will be interesting to see which firms the former employees will work for.

  • It's almost as if public authorities buying stable capacities from domestic firms and subsidizing innovative technologies leads to a Chinese competitive advantage. Who would have thought?

  • Power-to-gas is bullshit? Which planet are you on?

  • What a bizarre claim. Germany's policy of reconciliation has been applied acrosss various countries. You're just one Wikipedia article away from knowing that.

  • Not shocked. But sad. Neutrality is one of the best self serving lies.

  • Schwer zu erraten was die Strategie dahinter ist. Es gibt auch keine wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Grundlage für die Ausklammerung der zahndienstlichen Leistungen, die mir zumindest bekannt ist.
