2·3 天前I have not read enough Lenin and I will fully and shamefully admit to this fact, though my total is not zero. What I have read however is Settlers, which elucidated clearly the contradiction and deception behind the idea of the white “working class” in the west. Judging by your edit it was not clear the group I was speaking of and I will also fully admit to that.

This was the first of several writingbased reasons that the game never synced for me like it apparently did for everyone else. The game wants you to feel for cop man Harry and it never succeeded in convincing me to have interest in his wellbeing and I’m surprised as many people had that interest as they did. I still went through the motions of his road to healing arc because that’s what the game clearly wants you to do but by the end I still felt nothing for this slightly less of a total wreck man, and by then the rest of the writing had started to annoy me as well.
Not to suggest I suddenly have any interest in this game either. Giving private investor skinwalker slop space in your brain never ends well, and the cynic in me has to believe the lesbian protagonist was chosen solely to gain favor with the less intellectually rigorous Tumblr side of DE’s fandom that never even played the game or knew what dialectical materialism was and just got obsessed with drawing and writing about Harry and Kim kissing. The same people that hideous “collage mode” was added to cater to.
11·4 天前It could also never be made today because no one but the most deluded of white lib FB moms would have any appetite for a show about how your exploitative labor aristocrat boss is actually one of you and you should love him. If that’s not the most American show premise of all time tell me what is. The British are addicted to their own exploitation too, but they’re also critically depressed cynics, so the UK version at least had the decency to have the Gervais character be a universally reviled loser that everyone is relieved to see get fired.
The average are average due to apathy to the world beyond their individual delusion, which lets fascism in the door.

Of course. Socialism requires thinking beyond the future. You have to operate at a level where not only has the future already happened, but you are now thinking into its future. You take the future for granted and determine future action from that.
