Thanks for the advice. I actually do yoga and am permanently doing Physical Therapy for my other hip (since doctors said there’s nothing physically wrong with it), so I guess I’ll just keep at it. I also have to remember to actually rest the area when it’s so injured that I’m limping… 😅
I’ve definitely been doing a lot of those things since it happened. Much shuffling, tarrying, and slowing down. I just started back on working out today, but nothing with my hip. 😩
I walked up a hill and hurt my hip a bit. Then I got excited and jumped around dancing later that night, and BAM. Hip has hurt for 4 days now (as in, hobble-walking), and considering my track record, will now hurt just slightly until I die and doctors will have no fucking idea why.
Wow, it’s really sad hearing her daughter talk about how her mom was her best friend, and they talked every day, got mysteriously ill and died, and her dad was like, “now make pretend your mom killed herself.” He must not have know his wife or daughter very well.
Idk what’s up with the downvotes, but I think people should read the whole article/blog post before they downvote. This dude’s living car-less, which at least should excite some of you.
I think all white screen caps should have a filter on them for when I doomscroll at night.
