A phone like this won’t get any money out of you other than the money you give when buying the phone. So it makes sense that it’s pricey.

I just ran the two apps side-by-side and barely found any differences otger than some subtle UI changes. How exactly is it different? And how is Organic Maps being enshittified?

Anyone else feel this?English1411·25 days agoIt’s Facebook Messenger and Whatsapp for me. I ditched the Facebook app a long time ago, but Messenger and Whatsapp remain on my device because no one wants to leave them. I try to keep my chats there as superficial as possible.
Also, this is my first comment ever on Lemmy, so hi everyone!
The truth is, if it wasn’t for data collection, these phones would be more expensive than this. So yeah, they are cheap compared to their price if companies didn’t collect user data.
