Take it all please, leave the rest of us able to fix what needs fixing.

Who holds fact-checking companies accountable?
I didn’t say it’s perfect or even good, I don’t like it either, but we’re talking rights. Here, the product has a right to take our data as long as we consent to it - and you’re wrong, we are told when they take our data, most of us just don’t read the print, and click accept.
Not sure why you’re so bitter about it, or why you’re so consistently wrong about absolute rights we do or don’t have.
We have the right to privacy too, though the tech version you lay out here are more robust. Our right is to not purchase the products that require us to give access to our data. There are ways to keep private online, but it is much more difficult.
We’ve gotten a ton of change with trump. That’s why it’s felt so disruptive. Might not be the kind of change you were hoping for, but it’s certainly change.
What rights do you have in Europe that we don’t have in the US?
In Europe we get more rights, and in the US you loose your right to abortion entirely.
That’s not true at all. In fact, lots of states give access to abortion much longer than Europe does. And before anyone says healthcare, we do have universal healthcare, it’s just used as a safety net rather than a default. Every American has access to it as long as they meet financial requirements. I spent 4 years on it myself and it was great.
The US is not trying to take anything, we’re negotiating prices for territorial strategies.
I think whatever news you watch or listen to is fear mongering.
Creative writing.
So fun to both reach and practice, and grading homework would be far more fun and interesting.
Literally closing escrow next weekend.
I’m grateful she took such good care of the house. When I stepped inside I immediately knew it had good bones. Built in the early 80’s, I had a very thorough inspection done, and that guy was blown away. So I feel good about my purchase.
For whatever reason, we were the only offer after she was on market for 90 days. No idea why, and I spoke to a lot of people about the area, the land, just everything.
I’m not, I even edited the prior comment I made.
Well, he’s right, if they’re quitting over him removing the fact checkers. He’s also virtue signaling that he’s actually for free speech by removing them, just as he was virtue signalling that he was a good boi by hiring them in the first place. Zuckerberg is going to signal to whoever is currently in power that he’s going to do whatever they tell him to, no matter who it is, because it’s in the best interest of his position at fb.
I think getting rid of fact checkers is a good thing, but I don’t think for a second that he wouldn’t immediately get them back if the next admin told him to.
I’ll see what I can fit into my next design
Mocking cultures is fine. Mocking anything is fine.
Oh hey, I design those. Though I design them so that there’s an incredibly low risk they do that.
What a ridiculous article. Trump’s not even in office yet.
And I’m sorry, but groceries have gone up the last 4 years, and idc what any graph tells me, it doesn’t matter if I’m still paying the same high amount for groceries. No idea how the data is laid out or what data was included, but reality is what I hand over to buy the food I need to survive. And it’s too damn high.
We, did, they were pushed to the side. Those rules and protections were building more reservoirs, keeping those and the current ones full of water, continuous upkeep on fire hydrants, rehiring firefighters who were fired for not taking the vax, regular controlled burns, clearing out the undergrowth, not dumping water into the ocean after rainfall… So, so many that were completely abandoned.
You seem to think the prices for fire protection came out of nowhere, but they don’t. As these precautions were abandoned one by one, fire insurance went up, because the likelihood of a fire grew exponentially. When government put a cap on price, that effectively made it clear that the company would go bankrupt, completely, because they knew a fire was going to happen eventually.
We should be mad that those very protections put in place to help people were taken away by the government, not the companies.
I’m sorry, are we just skipping over the regulations that caused these companies to pull out? Most of these homes would still be covered. They’d be paying a higher price, but they’d be covered.
When you put a legal cap on costs, the company will pull out.
Lol, he absolutely won’t.
This is the fundamental issue with people arguing against free speech: I can never tell if they know they behave fascisticaly or not. Are they ignorant, or do they know?
This past election was very eye-opening in that everyone on the left was so absolutely confident that Trump wouldn’t win. So much so they had already started laying things out for their own fascist takeover.
And yes, the left can act in a fascist manner.
