Of course not. But do people really get to make shitty decisions that impact other people while hiding behind the veil of corporate structure without being directly named and shamed for their decisions?

True I was sitting inside by myself without friends before it was cool.
There are some things they can do like agreements/contracts going several years into the future, but the problem is anything they can do that on its face locks in the next admin, can be undone by the courts…which they now control at the highest level by a 6-3 majority, which at best remains only a 6-3 majority for the next 4 years and probably much much longer than that. Thomas will retire in this admin and they’ll get a new young ultra conservative in his place.
They’re gonna fuck everything up. They promised to.
They have a razor thin margin in Congress though, so anything requiring purse strings (money) our best hope is that they’re just really dysfunctional (which we know they are) and fight too much about how much to hurt other people to get much done.
But yeah, it’s looking dark.
“The security and privacy of our customers’ information are a top priority for Booking. com,” Booking. com’s spokesperson told Ars. “Following our investigation, we found that the issue occurred due to a customer input error during the reservation process, where he inadvertently entered an incorrect email address. That email address, however, belonged to another Booking. com customer”—Alfie—“which caused the reservation to be linked to their account.”
Yeah, but they’re on the same side, and it isn’t ours…
I have a coworker who should be running my whole department, she knows the business inside and out, knows all the major players in other companies and is straightforward with no bs. She has turned down the job so many times and after a while I slowly began to get it.
The trick (I assume, because it’s still the case) is exhaustion, deadlines, and alcohol.
I think the best redirect would be to convince them to “self-pasteurize” their milk. You can make an entire ecosystem of grift products on the best home pasteurizers to avoid harmful toxins or whatever the current buzzword is.
Not really, but it’s a useful assumption for lots of different types of maths.
Then why does garlic still taste the same!?
This is why the “secret scientists don’t want you to know” always turns out to be some pseudoscience bs that at best is misinformation and at worst is actively harming people. So, yes, they are things scientists don’t want you to know.
I feel like onions in general have lost a lot of flavor. I think it has to do with farming conditions and big agriculture businesses trying to eek out more profit. I should probably just start growing my own.
You gave a vague answer without explain why. I just asked the relevant follow up questions based on your response. No implications. Also no implications here, just explaining my reasoning. 🙂
What were the prior issues you used to have trouble with that they fixed? What types of bullshit that they have fixed are you referring to? Have you had much experience with your ISPs customer service in those past 10 years?
Both of those faces remind me so much of Nadja from What We Do in the Shadows for some reason.
You mean the guys who already own like 49% of "Open"AI?
The “lanes” are the sets of tire tracks from the car in front of you that you try to stay in so your car doesn’t suddenly fishtail.
It depends on the court and the judge/jury instructions but even accidental spoliation (destruction) of evidence can result in an adverse inference.
Sorry, obviously the public awareness of the people making these decisions is dangerous information.
DAMN YOU ANTHROPOMORPHIZED COMPANY RUN BY NOBODY WHO THEREFORE CAN MAKE SHITTY DECISIONS HIDING BEHIND CAPITALISM!!!
Thank your glorious mods for protecting our corporate overlords.
