  • Ok, this news is exaggerated. It's still sitting above a 100k. Also, bitcoin and stocks are correlated, so without a crash on stocks it will hardly crash.

  • Europeans won't "wake up", they'll just side with fascism.

  • I thought this was an Onion article.

  • Iran should've gotten nukes a long time ago. I think this is the lesson here.

  • I'm in a good mood today. I propose that if Russian capitalists allow for a peaceful transition back into socialism, they should be sparred.

  • Yes, I like it. But I never created an account. It's better than reddit for opinions. Answers are also given by people from different countries worldwide. Unlike reddit, which the users seem to be almost all white American males.

  • I know what will help, 5% of the GDP towards military spending!

  • Another thing about western communist parties, is that they are rich. They have a lot of money which they just waste on electoral campaigns. So imo, they should send some of that money to third world communist parties, that have an actual chance of doing revolution. Basically, fill the void left by the Soviet Union in exporting revolution.

I don't believe it's possible to build revolution, in any European country right now. Even in Greece, during the brutal austerity years, the best the Greek people were able to do was to vote for Syriza. So it's hopeless in countries like Germany and France.

  • What's the political situation like in Iran? Are there any real leftist parties? What do you think could be done to improve Iran's current situation?

  • That's not my point. What I'm saying is this. If the name of the candidate is "Claudia de la Cruz" and someone writes "Claudia Cruz" instead. Does their vote get burnt? See what I mean? It seems like a very easy way to manipulate results.

  • That seems really backwards for a country that claims to be so democratic. Also seems like a really easy way to dismiss votes, because they didn't perfectly write the name.

  • What does "Official Write-In Status" means?

  • I always get these vibes from these sort of news articles.

  • It doesn't take a genius to figure this one out. The West has been cutting costs in its education system for years, while China has continuously invested billions. Seems pretty obvious who'll come out on top. Cutting China from the West will only lead to Western technology becoming obsolete. I wonder how long until the West is forced to start copying and reverse engineering China's electronics. It'll also be interesting to see how these racist societies will rationalize this.

  • I'm glad China tackling the American spyware problem. A democratic government can't allow its citizen to be victims of espionage by a racist imperialist state. We can't allow Sleepy Joe to have access to Chinese citizens' personal data.

  • The best VPN service is to create your own. Rent a small cloud server on a far away country, and install Open VPN. This is the best form of secrecy online, that I can think of. Of course, it's still possible to identify you. But it seems much harder to do so.

Either your VPN server would need to have it's connections monitored, or access to logs from the problematic websites would be required. It's also necessary for the company which is hosting your server to disclose that your VPN server's IP is associated with you. And even then, if you encrypt everything in it, there is still room for plausible deniability. But all of this, is a much bigger hassle to the authorities than to just use a traditional VPN service.

With a normal VPN, especially if they have servers in NATO countries, they will provide all logs requested to them and you're toast. Basically, you're paying for a false sense of security.

  • Democracy is when you put a cross on a piece of paper which changes nothing, and then fuck off for 4 years.
