As someone with Autism and ADHD which you might call "wholesome" mental health conditions, I can tell you that society might claim to be open to us but it really isn't very much.
I'm lucky to have friends who accept me as I am, it might have helped that they knew of what I have before they became my friends. But even with them I cannot be completely myself, just mostly.
The hardest thing for me in society is that people don't really understand how we are different, and I think you have the same problem. People just see a person with a condition in a movie and assume that that's how it must be in reality.
I hope your friends will be able to understand you better, I wish you luck.
Maybe it could help to explain to them how it affects you, so it's not some condition to them that they are not sure of but very concrete symptoms.
It's the same in Germany, I've been in a sign making factory and they will make signs for everyone who pays. The illegal part is not owning them, the only illegal part would be putting them up on public streets without authorization. You are definetly allowed to use these signs on your own private ground, on a private parking lot for example.
Yes, this is how it is in Germany too and in my experience travelling it is like that in a lot of Europe.
Unmanned stations are a relatively recent thing here, so the first time I wanted to fill up at one I thought the pump was broken before I realised I have to pay first lol.
OneDrive files not being able to be downloaded by external parties would really annoy me if it was like that at work, because that's what I have to use to share files if our or their email system likes to think that the files I rightfully need to send to clients are "inappropriate".
Seems like some systems block any files that are not a standard PDF file or similar.
It's also true the other way around, especially if 4 seniors manage to block the whole path which is wide enough for a car to go down, walking next to each other.
And of course they are also too deaf to hear my bell.
I would really hope we will start replacing them with 18650s and the like soon.
Rechargeable NiMh batteries just suck in comparison to Li-Ion batteries
I just wait until I am at work, it's much simpler because the coffee at work is free and I just have to press a button and wait for the cup to be full.
I already had my car when I moved to this city and now I feel attached to it, so I don't want to get rid of it.
If I didn't already have it I wouldn't buy a new one now though.
It is pretty useful at times though, even if I do most things with my bike, my car has a big cargo area so I can easily transport a fridge, dishwasher, etc.
I bought a 144hz 4K 32" monitor a few years ago, it wasn't cheap (800€) but I don't regret buying it, everything just looks better on it than it ever did on the previous monitor.
A dining table is good for when family comes over and you want to eat something together. Now I also use it to eat something with my wife, but before I rarely used it. It helped that it was a hand me down from my mother though, so I didn't have to pay anything.
Sometimes I only find out that something only gets delivered to the US when I get to the checkout stage where you enter the adress and there is no option for countries.
It's not that hard to put this information on your website.
He does know some stuff about technology and his team knows the stuff that he maybe doesn't know.
But in the fight with GamersNexus Linus basically admitted that they don't have time to properly fact check stuff because they would make less money if they released less videos.
