Ah, that makes sense. I wasn’t aware of the 20 year limit.

What about the dynamic of capturing wild monsters from all different biomes in a ball? Isn’t that relatively close Pokemon? Game play is different, but the dynamics are similar.
That’s a good point. They want to hurt them however they can.
I wouldn’t argue that the game play is different.
I don’t disagree with that, but the line that is drawn between inspiration and imitation is blurred and the courts will probably rule in favor of those with the most money, unfortunately.
You can either explain your position, or you can be a pretentious ass. Like I said before, I’m often wrong. I’m willing to hear your point, but you refuse to make it and act pompous.
It was wrong for Nintendo to copy someone, but it’s not wrong for Pocketpair to copy someone. That’s what you are saying?
Again, this isn’t a copyright lawsuit. Making a game with monsters that look similar to theirs is not what the lawsuit is about. It’s about patents. Likely design patents like I mentioned before. If I made a country song with Eminem’s lyrics, of course you wouldn’t confuse it with Slim’s music, but I would need his permission first.
So it was wrong for Nintendo to do that?
rumor /roo͞′mər/ noun
A piece of unverified information of uncertain origin usually spread by word of mouth. Unverified information received from another; hearsay. A flying or popular report; the common talk; hence, public fame; notoriety.
propaganda /prŏp″ə-găn′də/ noun
The systematic propagation of a doctrine or cause or of information reflecting the views and interests of those advocating such a doctrine or cause. Material disseminated by the advocates or opponents of a doctrine or cause. “wartime propaganda.”
This wasn’t a rumor. This was maliciously spread propaganda.
I am typically anti-capitalist and usually root for the underdog. Palworld is a blatant ripoff of Pokemon and those denying it are delusional. Reverse the situation, where Nintendo releases Pokemon after Pocketpair releases Palworld and everyone would be calling it a ripoff.
Yeah, Nintendo’s legal department does some shitty stuff, but their likeness was stolen. Also, they are suing for patents, not copyright. The fact that the monsters are caught in a sphere is damning Pocketpair, while other Pokemon copies like Digimon avoid this.
It’s just my opinion. I’m often wrong.

It’s clunky and the novelty wears off quickly, but it was worth a play.

Last night. It was a Bass Pro Shops hat I wear in the yard or on walks. They go to shit real fast, but they are cheap as shit.
However, I have a rope brim hat I bought at Tootsie’s in Nashville. That’s my fancy hat.
Those kids are at MOST in 3rd grade.
Here are the approximate word counts for each book in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: ~77,000 words
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: ~85,000 words
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: ~107,000 words
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: ~190,000 words
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: ~257,000 words
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: ~168,000 words
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: ~198,000 words
In total, the series contains around 1,082,000 words across all seven books.
They would have had to read the entire Harry Potter series. They would have read “War and Peace” twice. They would have read about 80 Capt. Underpants books. They would have had to read about 50 Goosebumps books. A book for a 3rd grader typically consists of about 20,000 words, so in 10.5 months (school year) they would have to read almost 5 chapter books a month. Impressive at that age.
Same in MI. BIG GRETCH!
I wouldn’t fuck with Travis Kelce’s girlfriend.

shellfishhuman fucking skulls.
I just said that I would not argue that. That means that I think the game play is different.
