  • In my opinion Bloodborne 2 and Demon Souls 2 are disqualified for being PS exclusives, and therefore I have no interest in them.

Sekiro I just didn't like all that much, so I don't really care for a Sekiro 2. I think From did well in making it; it just wasn't my cup of tea.

For all my gripes with Dark Souls 3 it did tie up the series nicely with a nice bow, so I don't really want any more Dark Souls games (If anything Dark Souls it would be a proper remaster of Dark Souls 2, but that is never happenening/that already happened and is called Elden Ring.)

So by default I guess the answer is Elden Ring. There are a bunch of story threads that I would like to know more about in Elden Ring (mainly The Gloam Eyed Queen and Melina (who is probably the prison/host for her) and what happens after the madness ending) and I like the game. But I think I'm pretty happy with where the game ended, and a sequel would need to choose which ending is canon (or be a prequel, I guess. The Shattering could be a fun time to explore) or it would need to be so distant from the game that we won't hear anything about the questions raised in Elden Ring anyway (Dark Souls / Nightreign style).

If I could pick freely I think I would prefer that From takes the lessons they learned from Elden Ring and makes something new.

  • Bonfire Ascetics for sure. Missed them is every other game and I have no idea why they haven't made a return.

Beyond the obvious I'd also like to add the ability to powerstance different types of weapons (like rapier+dagger). The wakisashi in ER tries to be that, but it falls short since it loses the ability to powerstance with daggers.

  • Lutheran practice, mainly. (Wikipedia link) Honestly never occurred to me that there are places where this isn't normal (though the candles aren't usually in wreaths here, just in regular candle sticks with four candles).

  • I assumed op meant exclusive access in the sense of "this is mine, and nobody else is allowed to use it".

  • In a meager defense of the cult of the Formless Mother, the finger maidens are literally working for the Greater Will (although they are low ranking), they can't stick around if you change faith and it seems they are bound to their Tarnished spiritually.

It's still a murder cult though, so I don't claim that they are good at all.

  • Miquella is in many ways exactly like his mother. Unfortunately, his mother is by and large a pretty terrible person.

  • Guild Wars 2:

Citadel of Flame dungeonVolcanic fractalMolten Furnace fractalMolten Boss fractalProbably some others I don't remember.(Fractals are shorter dungeons.)

  • Most of these read like ads. Most of the rest read like information found in an advertising profile (the kind of info that ad companies purchase). Only a couple read like actual things people care about.

  • Honestly, I have no idea myself. I first saw it at GDQ yesterday (or so).

  • What finally worked for me on the image above is to look at the yellow dress on the image above on my phone, then zoom in on the part in blue light, then squint so I barely see what I'm doing and move the zoomed in section so that it only shows the party of the black and blue dress in yellow light, and then open my eyes again. Then it finally looked yellow and white.

  • Non-American as well, but I believe GI means "General Infantry", but in use GI means "Army Man/Soldier" so it doesn't really matter what the letters stand for.

  • You would also get the same problem as the op in Norweigan.Hvor = WhereHvem = Who(Hvorfor = Why / Wherefore)English is the odd one out here, it seems. (Also why I would rather be learning German from Norwegian than English, but oh well.)

  • Took me a second too, but it's supposed to be a list of descriptors of the woman in the picture. A better way to form it would be "She uses drugs, but she is also a wife, a coworker, and a grandmother." with the last three as bullet points.

  • Could be Guild Wars 2. There are two scythe the game (I'm not counting staff skins): Necromancer staff, which is a casting implement with mostly utility skills, and Necromancer Reaper "mode", which gives you a ton of DPS and tankiness until you run out of your saved up life force.

  • I feel like Sea Shanty 2 from Old School Runescape is a strong contender. Even if you have never played Runescape there is a good chance you know it.

  • Also 🇧🇻 🇳🇴 🇸🇯 "These are all the flag of Norway" you might say, and that is correct. But one is for Bouvet Island, one is for Norway, and one is for Svalbard and Jan Mayen (in that order, here). Norway's national day was recently and it is fun every year to see so many people celebrating Bouvet Island (it shows up first in alphabetical lists).

  • It's a character from Attack on Titan. Iirc the character is called Sasha and she gets shouted at for eating a potato during a military drill. Her response is to offer the drill sergeant part of the potato. (Been a while since I watched AoT)

  • It's for emphasis, most likely. Italics would have been the more common option, but it still gets the point across this way.
