  • Yeah I've had pretty good luck in eBay for my phones. I think the p6 I'm running now was 150? I debate on upgrading to the p8 for a newer battery mine struggles and I can keep the p6 for playing with mobile Linux or something

  • I second getting a used pixel a gen or two behind. That way you aren't supporting google in any meaningful way, it's still a great phone, and saves money. Unless you need the marginal performance gains of the newest phone, it's really not worth it

  • $21k-23k is a lot, though I imagine is cheaper than a proper DC fast charger. I wonder what the intended use case is for this if it requires a 480/3 connection at the other end.

  • The people around me don't tend to give me shit about it, unless it's asking in good faith. If they ask legitimately why we eat meat imitations, I'll give them some reasons. If its some random, I ignore them, since I give zero shits about their opinions

  • I don't understand how we don't use a third party, non partisan entity to draw district maps. Gerrymandering should be illegal, its so obviously against the spirit of democracy.

  • The bearings and stuff should be roughly the same intervals as regular vehicles, since they should be designed for the weight of the vehicle. Otherwise you'd have trucks and SUVs getting those replaced significantly more frequently than sedans, and that's not really the case.

  • That last paragraph was a wild read

  • I don't know if it fits all the bills, but I would check out openEVSE. I believe its open source hardware and it has a webapp to control some things. I haven't dug too far into it, but in looking to get a second evse and lean towards that one

  • 70 is pretty standard in the us, though it ranges from 65-85 ( top end is rarer for sure). Most areas I drive that's kind of the average speed, so there's many people doing 80+ in a 70 zone

  • I've thought about it, but in really holding out for a proper Linux phone, but we'll see.

  • You can't stop me from dreaming!

  • I don't really think so, it's still going to be personal taste. I've heard great things about the ioniq 5/5n, fast charging, quick car, has some good driver-centric features.

I only really have experience with my polestar 2, but is also a blast. Its not the fastest ev, but it is fast as far as cars go, and handles really well too. There's things I don't like about it, but so far it's my favorite car that I've owned.

  • I luckily haven't had any issues so fast. And even noticed more places have a card reader on the charger too. I'd love to not have any charging apps lol

  • Ive definitely had it too. Its fixed my just clicking and dragging the tab over, but it's still pretty frustrating.

  • PRIDEMONTH RIDE'M

  • Lie to me. It was a fun, different crime/drama show. It deserved to at least wrap up a few things.

  • Basically the same, but BMX for me lol

  • I forget, this is the side massively advocating for States rights correct? I'm sure it wasn't a dog whistle for anything else
