As a lot of people discovered over the pandemic, staring at their own face is the only thing they want, I’ve seen a lot of people pinning their own camera in zoom to have their own face full screen the whole time
Who do you mean?
That’s true, but they were in hiding, being ashamed to show their true colours
Mainly because how far Trump is from anything considered hero, and the only super about him is the size of his McDonald’s order.
Biden got more votes in primaries than all the other candidates combined. That’s kind of how popularity works.
People on the internet like to pretend that US has more progressives than it has, but all the statistics show that even the most popular progressive candidate can’t get enough support to win primaries, so chances of him winning the general election were even more slim.
Unless that will change, best we can hope for is a competent centrist.
people who would vote for a conservative only have one issue: Conservative candidate.
That’s literally what’s hapepning. Trump’s VP pick was incredibly against Trump until he got picked and then he got very much pro. Hell, conservative party doesn’t have a stated program, they literally don’t state any values.
They might target it to specific areas. The gerrymandering software is so good this days, with access to all the data you can predict pretty accurately how any area is going to vote
And in a way they were right. Putin used and is continuing using the threat of the nuclear penis to keep the west away from his murderous affairs. Even when it became obvious that all the myths of his powerful army are bullshit, the west still doesn’t do anything substantial to stop the madman, because of the nuclear threat.
It’s doing exactly what they want it to do. Their goal isn’t a military victory, their goal is a war as long as possible, and every meatbag they throw into the grinder just makes the military leadership slightly richer.
Doing arithmetics quickly is a skill that is slowly dying out of the general population. When we all used cache we had this with us all the time, but now we just don’t use it that often, generally, on average
Despite everything, Telegram is actually great. It’s only bloated if you’re using the features on the device, the client is opensource and there are native apps for any platform, it’s very lightweight compared to other messengers and even to some dedicated filesharing solutions, it sends stuff p2p on the same network so you don’t need to care about the traffic, but also it allows for on-demand downloads so if you want the stuff will be available outside of your network.
Alternatively, kdeconnect, but I find myself using Telegram instead 9 times out of 10, even though I have both installed.
Or alternatively it’s a win of messaging, it’s so easy and convenient it can be easily used for the purposes not intended
What were its advantages over Firefox?
BTW I didn’t read
Oh that I can believe
Yeah, I know you know better than everyone else, and everyone who disagrees is just an uneducated pleb, but this one you can test for yourself. More than half of the nodal points needed for the face recognition are above the centroid of the face, which usually a top point of a mask, and half of the other half are the outer part of the face which mask doesn’t conceal much. You need less then a half of the points to reliably recognize a face, and even me, stupid rube with no education, can do the math here.
