Yes, I realise Coke Zero is not sweetened with HFCS or cane sugar. That knowledge is in fact central to my actual question: does Coke Zero taste different in the UK vs. the USA?
‘Boring’ is a lazy assessment that says nothing. Dig deeper. Why do you think a given thing would be boring? What about it specifically do you think you won’t enjoy?
Once you learn to start asking yourself those types of questions, you can start looking for things that actually interest you, rather than dismissing everything out of hand.
I guess thieves found a way to circumvent it, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense
Even if they haven’t (yet), it’s still a recent development. There are plenty of old models out there without it, not to mention Android phones which hold the majority market share in the UK.
RIF warned that it was going to stop working, so I started using Voyager instead. By the time the API changes actually went through I was already set up and ready to go.
These days I only use Reddit (in browser) for 2-3 communities that don’t have a big enough Lemmy equivalent yet, like r/NFL, and I don’t actively engage there at all - no upvotes, no comments, just read-only.
High risk drivers identified researchers and sent them letters urging them to quit sending letters and get out of the goddamn way, some people have places to be, jesus christ MOVE YOUR ASS GRANDMA. They found it had a profound effect
Either find a writing community that offers a feedback channel (probably on a Discord server these days, and you will likely be required to offer feedback on others’ work first as a show of good faith), or pay for a professional reading/feedback service.
Ultimately, writers need to accept that no one owes them feedback on their work, and there are literally thousands of other writers out there all trying to get feedback at the same time as you.
As others said, this looks like a fake drive sold as a scam. Chances are high the drive controller has been modified to report incorrect values. Any data written to that space beyond its actual capacity will either overwrite existing data or go straight to dev/null
It’s good fun! I’ve played around with it a fair bit and I enjoy the constraints (although I do wish there were some standard/official function libraries for common stuff like collision detection).
My only real complaint is that the built in code editor is shit, but it’s easy enough to open the cartridge file in a proper editor and work that way.
We love salt and vinegar in the UK. I think statistically it’s the second most popular flavour of crisps here, after cheese and onion.
Sorry to hear the US somehow ruined it, although I’ve had pickle flavour crisps from the USA and enjoyed them, so I think there is hope.
